Oh has just gone to pick her up from the station so I will update later.....about venison farming and killer dogs that is.0 -
Venison is delicious - I don't understand why it isn't more popular. Maybe price.
I got it from my butcher and he charged less for it than the stewing beef I got!!!!!Maybe people think it's more expensive that it really is.
I'm going to ask my butcher to mince some up so I can make some burgers with it and I must ask mum if she still has her sausage maker - yummy bambi sausages:D
Think we may have to eat my eldest if there's a real crisis though as he is refusing to eat my home made food - he's starving at the mo' as there's no crud in the house now but there's left overs in the fridge if he wants it - there is bread and butter available but he's so far resisting - ah well - I'll wait until he faints from hunger before giving in!!!Noli nothis permittere te terere

Did you see Louis Theroux on one of his shows trying to get that survivalist red neck to say 'I'm Free ' because he said he liked are you being served, so funny'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

venison sausages are lovely, and I hardly ever eat meat and still like them....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Venison is no more expensive than a prime fillet steak. Some people think it's a little deer though.:j0
