Venison is delicious - I don't understand why it isn't more popular. Maybe price.

I got it from my butcher and he charged less for it than the stewing beef I got!!!!!Maybe people think it's more expensive that it really is.

I'm going to ask my butcher to mince some up so I can make some burgers with it and I must ask mum if she still has her sausage maker - yummy bambi sausages:D

Think we may have to eat my eldest if there's a real crisis though as he is refusing to eat my home made food - he's starving at the mo' as there's no crud in the house now but there's left overs in the fridge if he wants it - there is bread and butter available but he's so far resisting - ah well - I'll wait until he faints from hunger before giving in!!!

Because even battery chickens are imported from China. We have virtually no arable land left in the UK (thanks to the housing shortage scam)

Have you ever been to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland? Or Grampian? Or the Scottish Boarders? Or Dumfries and Galloway?

...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
  • Venison is no more expensive than a prime fillet steak. Some people think it's a little deer though.:j
