There is no more stock at pc world in glasgow, but there is stock in currys, will i still get it at the pc world price if there are none in stock?

You need to go to PC World and ask if they will "GA" the item from Currys as I did. If PC World agree to do this, you pay at PC World and pick up the item from Currys.

The problem is, the pc world i went to, is in Glasgow and the currys, is in Edinburgh.

Well, finally I have secured my camera. The manager today was lovely and is even going to pick it up for me at the other branch and bring it in for me tomorrow for me to collect. I have paid for it and hopefully all is sorted.

It does seem to depend on what kind of relationship they have with the other stores as the guy yesterday said that he wouldn't be able to do it. He has asked me not to pass on his name as this isn't strictly company policy....

So tenacity paid off in the end, I have tried six times to get this camera, I hope I like it!!

I phoned the central reservations for currys and they said they don't have this camera at all!

Really want this camera..(walks away to cry in a corner)

Small question...
I have a Currys store near me, but the nearest PC world is over 25 miles away. Now, is there any way I could buy it from the Currys store at £169 without going to the PC world store? It's quite a long way to travel with a high risk of them just saying "no" !
Any help appreciated,

am i right in saying that this 'GA' thing everyone is on about will work with any product and is not exclusive to just slr cameras?
