Just wondered re the battery charging unit - do you use an AC adaptor? Mine doesn't have a 3 pin plug??
    Thanks.

    Thanks.

Should come with both UK and Euro power cables for the charging dock.

Standard cable so if you haven't got a spare just change the plug.
  • Absolutely shocked to discover that my local store had one left.

Went after work to collect it and am absolutely delighted. :j:T

Many thanks OP. Always wanted to buy an SLR, but could never justify spending £400+ on one.

Can't believe this comes with 2 lenses as well (mine came fully complete with battery, charger etc). :D

    Bargaintastic!!!!!:money:

    yay.....glad you got one too!!
    Fantastic camera isn't it?!!:j

It's an unbelievably fantastic camera, and the price is outstanding. At the Currys price of £283 it would have been worth it, but as a student I don't have that kind of money!! (Well, I don't really have £169 but ah well, looks like i'll have to find some stuff to sell!)

Well worth the money, and just from playing about with it tonight (albeit without a memory card!) it seems amazingly good.

Mine was ex-display, but was perfectly boxed by the time I had got to the Currys store to pick it up - got both lenses, camera, USB cable, TV cable, and both EU and UK leads with the charger and battery.
    :D

Couldn't be happier with it :D

Was that your local PC World? Wow, lucky you if it was!

Oh, by the way, I tried to telephone the local Currys store this morning but got the national sales centre, who said nowhere in the entire country had any of this camera left...try instore (Peterborough has 7 in one of their stores!)
