Just got off the phone and they will only give me 2000 points, I applied for the card straight away and have spent on in before the end of december. They are saying I was onlt entitled to the 2000 point via moneysupermarket. When I pointed out I was expecting 6000, they said they will investigate this and I should not contact the site...
What should I do next to get the other 4000 I am entitled too ?0 -
I got the extra points makiing it 6000 in total. No idea if it was going to be done in two parts or if that is a way to explain it,but a nice offer either way.Nice to save.0

:j Checked my account on American Express today and my additional points making the total to 6000 are there.
They transferred 2000 with my first statement, so I expect I will have to wait for the next statement to see them on my Nectar account. Thanks for the support from everyone who posted on this thread. It really encouraged me to persue the matter to the bitter end.

hi
checked my American Express but still only got 2000 points. Help0 -
I emailed Nectar today as I have only recieved 1000 points so far! - got a very speedy response!!!!
"Thank you for your email regarding your Nectar account.
I am pleased to confirm that the outstanding bonus points earned with your
Nectar Credit Card From American Express, will be credited to your account
inconjunction with your second American Express statement. If after this time
the points have not been awarded I will then be able to investigate further. "
I/ll wait and see what happens - not sure I/m overly optomistic!

I don't think there is any need to worry about this.
I've just had my first statement showing only 2000 points. I phoned today about the remaining 4000, spoke to a very pleasant young man and it was confirmed that my additional 4000 points will be added some time in the week beginning Feb 6th.
No need to be antagonistic - I find a gentle but firm approach works best - and there's no point in being impatient.

I am sure we have Martin's recent approach to Amex Nectar on our behalf to thank for this.0 -
If tee pee, couteaux, Klondyke, Sun, Sabre and Cultsmill have not yet got satisfaction, I suggest you try again and keep trying. And take it calmly, it works better!0
