I feel sorry for which ever royal had to sit through it!

I just took a little sidewards step in the bathroom and my foot slipped about an inch on the tiles - ouch! it was just a teeny bit but the pain was as if I was doing the splits!

  • I watched about 4 mins and had to turn over...

Poor DH got halfway through his tea tonight then went and threw up... He didn't feel ill before and we have no idea what happened (it could of been dodgy chicken which I had none of, just sauce...) He came down and said he now has a bit more sympathy for me.... Joyous...

Oh and I joined those of you who have fallen over yesterday... I started walking one way then remembered I needed to go somewhere in the opposite direction and I think my foot went down a hole in a decorative part of the pavement... I landed on my knees and my thumb so baby was fine, thumb kills, knee is a little grazed and ankle is a little twisted... and of the 20 people walking past... Not one asked if I was ok.... I love modern society :p
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

NICE antenatal guidelines say that nuchal tests should be available - which they are here, you just have to pay! I agree that higher risk people should have free access to them (ie: over 35/ family history/ previous pgs with issues). I seem to remember when I joined the thread someone saying they could have one at the ripe old age of early 20 something:confused: . Doesn't make sense - but is just part of the NHS postcode lottery, I suppose

Personally I'd like to labour in the midwife birth unit (nect door basically to consultatnt unit) - but having had a c/s 11 years ago I can't - even though I've had 2 'normal' deliveries since:mad: . Nothing worse than being led on a bed strapped to a monitor for hours :(

Personal bug-bear moan over with now!

Hi greent - another case of postcode lottery!! I also had a C/S 11 years ago, followed by a normal delivery 8 years ago.
I've been told i'm allowed to use the midwife led unit (again, joined to the normal hospital 'maternity' bit) as i've had a 'normal' birth since c/s.
I'm hoping to be able to use the pool - but its quite a big hospital, with only one pool!

He has just a bit more sympathy :rotfl:Men! Mine just rang to make sure everything is ok, he does this at least 6 times a day when he's away, its very sweet but seriously I can survive on my own for a few days!

and modern society - grrr! every time I go to starbucks in town people stand by watching me struggle with buggy and stoopid not automatic door  I always hold doors for prams, old people, wheelchairs. Have some respect people!

Oww, oww, oww.. my boobs have taken off! :( I can't move without feeling like I've got knitting needles being stabbed into them! Any suggestions? Hot or cold? Radox bath? (or just a walnut whip to solve everything? ;))

Bump has also taken off. Even my size eights were cutting in earlier.. must order some trousers with the elastic and buttons inside.

Has a hormonal outburst first thing this morning. A colleague sent me an email basically saying "your office is a pigsty; sort it out!" and I got all teary and then bumped into OH's manager in the corridor, who said "I don't know what's the matter but if it's work related, ignore them and I think you're fab at your job!" - bless him! I do come in for a fair bit of flack at work - I'm the HR administrator so I'm the one they all phone when their pay is wrong or they're feeling hard done to! Colleague is very right tho.. my office is a dumping ground and !!!!!!-tip! :( Need to get it sorted by new year.

I missed this post 1st time round, I said a while ago I wish I could give my scan to someone else, I really don't think its fair that I can have it for free.
Last time I was 20/21 and this time I'm 23, the chance is super low anyway I don't see the point in offering tests to everyone my age when ladies over 35 elsewhere have to pay for it
