Congrats to the new BFPs and I agree that Miss C must have had something happen. Yay new babies

  • Elle, try warm flannels on them... and paracetamol if it gets really bad...

Sami, DH texts me about a million times a day... Which is fine when I'm just bumbling round the house but when I'm busy or working during his lunch hour I get all 'your quiet' kind of texts then I feel guilty for not replying... But he only does it because he loves me...

Oh and I always hold doors, help pushchairs on and off the bus and thank people for courtessy...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I don't envy you being HR admin! I worked in a recruitment agencies for nearly 5yrs I sooo don't miss contractors calling me screaming why haven't you paid me - err we did its your crap umbrella company was usually the response I gave :rotfl:

Yeah, and Nov/Dec is the worst time as they're all relying on the extra money for Christmas. Last week, I was reaching the point of switching my answerphone on to constant and rerecording the msg to say "Before you have a go at me, check that it's not your team leader to blame - it usually is!"

Have told OH about the WWs - I'm thinking stocking filler :D
  • OH's phone is rarely on. Luckily he is online all day at work, so hopefully I'll be able to get in touch when I'm in labour!

He was discussing birthing options today - his boss was recommending a home birth. His wife had his two at home, and he liked it because after a couple of hours everyone left, and him, the wife and the baby just went and got in bed. I like the sound of that! My compromise is delivering in hospital, but I'm going to the ward afterwards (unless there are complications).

Baby is definitely in a different position, feels very weird. Pressing on my bladder too!
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

I hope it all kicks off for me when OH is at home. The quickest way to get hold of him at work is to phone the Gatehouse who can track him down on the radio - and in the process let about 40 other radio users around site know what's going on! I don't need that kinda pressure.. Can labour stop with performance anxiety? ;)

I'm not sure why but I just don't like the idea of HB - its probably coz my house is a complete mess :o it just feels wrong to me

I'm so scared that OH will be his usual shy self and just go along with his boss when they say "matt your going to london" and then I'll go in to labour and like with chris it'll be really quick and he'll arrive at hosp filthy minutes after bubs arrives

Hmm.. same here. I think I'd be too afraid of ruining the bed or carpets, plus I want to be where all the drugs are. The panic of not being near the help (I'm a wuss - I'm gonna need it!) far outweighs any calmness I might feel about being in my own house! That and the having to tidy up beforehand :o

Please tell me there is someone else here who hasn't got their tree up yet? I don't even feel tired in the evenings - I just fall asleep without warning. It's like I blink and three hours disappears!

No tree here! I'm enjoying my last Christmas with little fuss coz next year Chris will know what it is so I'll be forced to have tree, lights and all sorts of associated crap

    a) It hurts and I want pain relief!!!
    b) I want as many medical professionals around me in case things go wrong (as they nearly did with Poppy).
    c) Don't want the neighbours calling the police about all the shouting next door!

    xxx
