Hi Everyone,

Hope you're all well today.

I had a call from my Midwife yesterday and she's coming for her 1st visit on Friday. I explained about my periods being messed up and she said to use the last one I had in November (10th - 14th) and the scan will verify the correct dates. I really don't think this could've been a "proper" period though as I tested positive on 3rd December. Or could it have been that quick? I'm a bit of a dunce when it comes to this, sorry.

oh no bounty that means that moves me 1 place down in the list! lol only kidding welcome and congrats! i am due a little girl the day after!!

we had the tests for downs etc but not to scare you my SIL had them all too and all the scans and everything came up as normal. however her LO was born with 'Charge' syndrome which is linked to 'Edwards' syndrome. he was a very sick little boy from day one and we have never understood how nothing was picked up at his scans esp as he never had a joined oesphagus(sp?) had to get emergency op to join his windpipe and he could never eat orally, hole in his heart and also 6 fingers on each hand. the tests are there for certain disabilities but not always are they picked up on. she has recently had another baby and never had any tests done as she said it wouldnt matter and he was born without 'charge'. sorry to put a downer on things but things arent always picked up?

Eep.. I think I've had a bit of a show! Nothing else going on, so I don't think I'm going anywhere just for the moment, but I guess if I'm right it means baby might be here by Christmas day!

Well I think hubby will be pleased I didn't see any trainers I wanted coz I've just spent £116 in Clarks :eek: got myself a pair of genuine leather knee high boots and Gen leather handbag both in the sale :j
