I've been making a baby blanket, and I've still not finished it. I think I'd better get a move on, or I won't be able to take it to the hospital with me (Well... I could, and take a needle and thread along too!)

Yes, I think you can have one a week or so before hand. I think I saw it on a list of things that might happen in the previous week. Last time I saw MW she said to call hospital if waters break, or if contractions start and I'm ready to go in. No huge rush for either of them to happen though - I'm happy to have a rest for a bit longer! Knowing my luck it will end up being Monday morning when I'm meant to be at home waiting for Argos to deliver the rest of the nursery furniture!

Finally added myself, had my scan and now happy. Was given a printout of my nuchal tests and was a 1/782. She said this was low risk. Has anyone researched much. Before the test I was 1/152. Been completely paranoid due to my age and thought I was pushing my luck after 5 healthy babies. I need to get a grip!

Tara, I know nothing about the results but thought I'd say something coz it seems like everyone else has run off to drive home/put tea on. I don't know how old you are but if the result is "low" I'm sure you'll be fine

I have no idea what my blood test results are, they just sent me a letter saying it was low risk... I also decided to have the tests but wouldn't of gone on to have any futher invasive testing... I only really had the blood test because of DH and his need for clinical intervention at every opportunity...

Work was fantastic today, although I was on my feet the whole time and my back was killing me by the time I left to get the bus home... Had to pop some milk down to the neonatal unit and saw the tiny tiny babies in there, I just wanted to scoop them all up in cuddles, they looked so little and alone....

My boobies have started working... Can express little drops now if I give them a little squeeze which I'm really glad about... Considering my occupation you would think I should know better but when DD stopped feeding my milk dried up straight away and I was a little paranoid that it wouldn't come back lol... DH though thought it would be funny to soak my side of the bed last night while I was in the bathroom and when questioned said 'Oh it must of been your boobs' I was not amused really...

I'm 37. Dunno why it became such an issue this time. Never was before. Just told my 5 year old son that the baby's due the day before his 6th birthday. He just looked at me and his dad and said 'Well I'm not letting it have half of my cake!'
