I might be wrong but I'm sure that in my Bounty pack it said you get a voucher in the pack you get in hospital, which gets you a nappy wrapper for £4.99 from Argos.Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0

Did you go to the Baby's r us at Gemini?
I know it's far too early to be looking (6 weeks today!!!) :j but thought I might go and check out any bargains especially when sale comes to an end. Have never checked out the baby stuff in there or in IKEA (Why would I?) - is it any good? Might check it out on way home from work, then nip to ASDA for a cheeky look in there!
I like the Marlow - the dresser in natural would go perfect in our room.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Morning ladies!
On Tues night managed to get to the Asda Baby Event at one of our big Asda's. Not a lot going on really. I had loads of vouchers with a £1 off various Pampers/Huggies products so used them in conjunction with some of the offers going on. Bought the Johnsons white bathtime box. Plus 2 x white starter parks and 2 x Winnie the Pooh outfits which will hopefully be the going home outfit to the twins from mummy and daddy.:p
Our two cot mattresses arrived yesterday that we ordered off net to go with the Mothercare cots we bought in the sale. Plus towel radiator arrived (boring item for the loft extension and after a trip to Morribobs, the car was quite full!).
Had a 24 week appointment with the midwife. Haven't seen the midwife since 8 weeks as I have been consultant lead at the hospital due to having twins. BUt being at the hospital is very impersonal and no-one to really talk to about general pregnancy stuff. Anyhow, despite the fact that dimebar me forgot her notes ( ) I was able to have a good catch up with her and she answered loads of questions. Also got to hear the babies heartbeats which I haven't heard before and only seen on the screen during scans, was great and strong! :TProud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T0 -

Hey Mooki, you're near me! Well I assume so anyway as that's my 'big Asda' too. And you're due that day after me... we're almost twins lol.0 -
Hi all,
I found out I was pregnant on Monday night. Went to the Docs on Tuesday and have been booked in for my first scan on 9 March - am 6 weeks at mo. Due around 25 September!!!!
Quite a little miracle really as I have polycystic ovaries and we have not "used anything" for just over four years. I got the positive on the eve of our second wedding anniversary (clomid still untouched in my drawer)!!!
I'm just really scared now about having a miscarriage, I keep reading articles (I know I shouldn't really) and they're making me very nervous. I've had tummy ache for the past few days, which the nurse said is normal but last night I had a bit of light/mid brown discharge - is this normal?? I also had quite a sharp pain in my tummy on Tuesday night but it went after a minute or so after I got out of bed and had a stretch.
Boobs still hurting and feeling a bit sicky as well .......0 -
Hi Ladies
Have just popped in to catch up with you all, I will be 12 weeks on sunday and then first scan on tuesday, keep having lots of dreams that im not really pregnant, hoping all that will pass once I have had the scan.
Been knackered lately and have been very busy at work- been doing 6 days a week, :-( although its helping the baby fund grow and will mean i can have more time off later.
Did anyone else have problems sleeping in early pregnancy, i fall fast asleep at night but seem to be waking up at about 4am and struggling to get back to sleep!! which then makes me more knackered the next night!!!

Yep I had a period of insomnia too and looked like death warmed up between morning sickness and not sleeping wellIronically the meds they gave me for sickness knocked me out so I got some sleep whilst I was on them
It does pass though and proper sleep WILL return... for a while
Then you start having to get up to wee 50 times in the night
But you learn that you might as well get up wee and go back to bed instead of thinking you can sleep through it
and you learn to go back to sleep after a little while

Thanks Mrs Tine- good to know it will pass. The morning sickness seems to be getting better (touch wood) as i just seem to have to eat every few hours in the morning and then seem ok. Although had a few rough days and no-one at works know I am pregnant - my boss has made a few comments about me having 'a late one on a work night' so will be soo glad to tell them!!.:j:j:j:j:jI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
