I just dug out the post code for where we first lived when we moved here... and it's a 4 :rotfl: Not surprised - the house had an indoor pool, granny annex, was set in the middle of the woods and the rent alone was £3k a month! (It's ok - we got it for £2k a month because we took a 3 year let - guaranteed by NATO and the danish Navy... it was HUUUUUGE)DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Going to try the doppler, it's too early but hey, I wanna!
Also got a tommy tipee expresser for £10 in asda, so need to hide that from DH :rotfl:0 -

Been to the midwife, everything ok. Saw the lady who is actually 'my' midwife for the first time - not bad for 38 weeks.
She had a good hard poke of my tummy and said baby feels about 7lb - has anyone every had an accurate guess of their babies weight?
She said BP was a little high, but mine always is apparently - no-ones mentioned it before. It was 138/90 today (last ones were 128/80, 135/84 and 120/81) - whats normal?
But nothing to worry about - and she'll see me at 41 weeks if i'm still here!!! - Please don't let me make that appointment!
Went to Asda on my way back for a pineapple - worth a try!! Came out £90 lighter - how did that happen?
Got the 6pk of Johnsons wipes for £5, and some second size babygrows, and a little piglet babygrow and hat, and some trackpants for DS1 because he just keeps growing!!
Had quite a bit in my Asda but the Tommy Tippee shelf was getting a bit bare.:beer:0 -

Well you might as well get some practice in, you'll be amazed at all the things you'll learn to do one handed once baby arrives!MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
Had a lovely afternoon with my very overdue friend - she's being induced on friday as that's her 14 days over then. We ate choccie biscuits and drank tea to celebrate
No pains today - in fact I feel very alert and awake and have had such a nice week so far that I'm quite happy for baby to stay where it is a few more daysperhaps that'll tempt it out
Planning a quiet day tomorrow and then the MW visit on friday, followed by the cinema for saturday night and a big walk and pub lunch for sunday.
That lot should keep me goingr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
typing one handed will be the first thing
Actually for me it was trying to eat cornflakes left handed without spilling any on the baby. I failed at that one. :rotfl:

I asked my MW to make a guestimate on size for me and she wouldn't/couldn't?We'll just have to wait and see I suppose
Glad the apt was a good one.

Hi all..
App was fine today. Was very generous with my blood so barely noticed it, BP is fine 120/60, wee fine, I've put on 2kg (since 4th Dec!) and heard the heartbeat and kick thuds straight awayWhat does FHHR mean? It's in the FH column of the Antenatal Record page of my notes booklet (do we all have the same booklet?). I think it's Fetal Heartbeat, but not sure what the FHHR is
I'm at hospital for scan and more thyroid tests on 3rd March, blood result with consultant on 9th March then back to midwife for 25wk checkup on 8th April.
I told her about the registrar bloke being mad with me about not knowing my thyroid results were bad before my scan and it turns out they were returned to the surgery for the GP to check and the receptionists should have phoned me but noone did (no record of trying either) That's the second time it's happened - first time was when I was first diagnosed - so the midwife is going to have a rant!
After the app, I went to the nearest sweet shop. I asked for 100g of sherbet lemons and the man gave me about 300g for the price of 100g because it was the end of the jar and he wanted the jar for something else :money: Now I have a huge bargainous bag of sweeties next to me
MFD - When are you starting your maternity leave?
AF - Where have you been today? When does your mat leave start? Hope you're not stressing yourself out too much with the thought of the handover
Lots of labour vibes for rmac!
I'm off to my parents for tea again tonight. It's a bribe/thankyou because they want OH's help with moving furniture! Steak pie and chips - no veg, especially for him. Will have to have strawberries when I get back!0
