feelie its not fair that you are asking for help and they really dont seem to be doing anything to help you, did you ever look into reflexology/complimentry therapies through your maternity hosp??? also dont mean to pry but do you spend a lot of time in the house yourself?? just i find when i do this i feel that im climbing the walls and feel worse. maybe getting out and meeting up with other preg woman may help??? or move beside me i need a friend:D i love this village but dont know anyone apart from the smiles and hellos in the mornings:(

I'm pretty isolated, and would probably benefit from meeting other people. Only problem is the SPD is pretty limiting, and I'm so tired. I should start antenatal classes soon, so that should help.

Will double check with hospital on what they can offer, hopefully can do something. I've got ongoing, long-term problems, but unfortunately the funding is rubbish here, and I can't get any treatment apart from medication.

well all you can do is ask:D we get our treatments free here as part of the Jennifer/Gordon Brown trust as their first daughter was born in my local hosp prem and died. they do a lot for this hosp even though they went private for their boys before moving to no10!

i know what you mean about the SPD holding you back i am the same and have to plan in advance one day doing something 2 days off lol!! i know you have had on going problems but you think that they would offer you more support?? things will get better though! x

Have you tried tracking your order on their site, its a bit confusing but you can work it out eventually.
Also I reckon you'll get the 5th box arriving any day now

Hi Sami, I did try to track it, it says delivered and 5!!! boxes!!
However I spoke to the depot of the delivery company and they say they only received 4 from Kiddicare...
Thank you for your help. Next week when it arrives at my friends we will know more. The chances always are, that the fifth item was just the delivery note, but if someone picked the phone at Kiddicare and confirmed it, that would be great relief for me...
I cannot believe that I spent £800 and they don't even bother to call me and clarify things...

    Hi

I would like to join too please. I am 26 weeks pregnant with number 3, I have only just felt brave enough to join in as I had 2 miscarriages in 2007 and was being cautious, but now its all starting to feel real!

Sorry Jo to hear that you have lost your babies. My sister has also lost one in 2007 - found out 3 days before my wedding, but was very strong and put the sadness aside for my big day.
However I am happy to say that on 16th December we delivered her new baby Emily. She had a home birth, I was there with her all the way.
She wanted me to put ice on her back and then blow on the wet marks, it apparently made it easier to bear..
You will be fine, I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

I find it hard with more than 2, since I got pregnant I find it hard to look at the screen for too long. I can't cope with being offline, what a pain in the !!! for you. Think I'd start at today. Hope BT are giving you some money back?

Just saw, your baby is due on my birthday!
Too many children, too little time!!!

FG - I didn't make any friends until after Imogen arrived. No one seemed to talk at my ante-natal classes and I only attended about 50% of them for a variety of reasons.

So don't worry too much, there will be loads of chances to meet people after LO arrives, when hopefully your SPD won't be quite as limiting. The other alternative is to pop down to a couple of baby classes towards the end of your pregnancy. I went to a breastfeeding support class (basically coffee & chat!) when I was about 38 weeks to get measured for a feeding bra and met some lovely mummies who I am still friends with. It helped that I knew a couple of faces when I turned up 6 weeks later with baby in tow. HTH

Well DH has decided that being married to a pregnant lady ain't so shabby after all... getting served plates of home made danish waffles at 9:45 at night with dollops of haagen daaz vanilla icecream is definitely a perk!
He looks like the cat that got the cream bless him!
