Well DH has decided that being married to a pregnant lady ain't so shabby after all... getting served plates of home made danish waffles at 9:45 at night with dollops of haagen daaz vanilla icecream is definitely a perk!
He looks like the cat that got the cream bless him!

plus he didn't get sent to tesco for ben n jerry's either :p

I'm not amused with my hubby who couldn't be bothered to come over and feel bubs moving because "I've only just sat down" nice to know he cares!

Don't worry Sami I think that's just men... Not that long ago DH felt Roo moving and had the ordacity to not be as excited as me! Yeah he was chuffed but his interest lasted about 2 minutes after she stopped kicking that was it... so I had words! Said I didn't care if he had to pretend to be excited but next time he better appear to be excited because it meant a lot to ME that he could feel her...

Don't know if he's more interested now or faking it but he's definitely trying to be more positive ;)

    Evening Everybody.

Flicking through the pages, it looks like we have a few new names:).

I have had a hectic day today. Went to Liverpool shopping straight from dropping the boys off at school, then train back and straight into town, and straight to MIL's, then (a fair walk) over to Asda, and then a taxi back just in time to collect the boys.....so I barely sat down all day.
We also had to stay and have a meeting with ds2 teacher about his Literacy problems, it seems the intervention scheme he is on isn't really working, and his teacher (who is excellent and a very qualified SENCO) is pretty convinced he has dyslexia, possibly mild dyspraxia thrown in too. SO she is going to keep him on the Early Literacy Scheme he is on, but also is starting an additional programme with him called Beat Dyslexia, she has also asked us to fill out all the forms relating to the special needs register etc.. although she is only going to use School level action for now, it is so he can be more quickly refferred higher up the chain if needs be.

I am aching all over and spd pains are excruciating after all the walking I have done today, which is typical as they haven't been too bad all week! I have just been on the phone for over an hour to my friend, talking about mainly baby and pregnancy related things. I think, I am having second thoughts about a Home Birth. Not really any reason relating to me or baby...mainly because I am worried the boys will walk in on me whilst the head is sticking out of me or something!!!!! or that they will hear me in pain, which I do not want at all. I would never want them to see or hear me in pain! I have read around the net about having someone round to care for other kiddies whilst in labour, but I don't want that either!!!
    Any suggestions gratefully received!!!

Sorry for the loooong post, bit of a rambler tonight:)

    Mel x

Tine he did have a feel earlier but bubs stopped before he felt and he said - actually I'm not that bothered coz it freaks me out that something is crawling round inside you

Mel - my only suggestion would be is there someone who could come and collect them?

Has anyone heard of the bump2baby show? It's on 20-22 March at The International Centre, Telford - www.bump2babyshow.co.uk although not much info there. Just wondered if there had been one before and if anyone thought it would be any good :)

Also, for those who are 2nd+ timers or due soon, would you have felt up to going away for the weekend at 34 weeks? Nothing too strenous, but OH and I have a week off when I'll be at about that stage so we're thinking of getting away for a last break but don't know where.. any suggestions?

I'd say a trip to somewhere relaxing and not too far away would be great :D
I forgot to look where u are so no idea where is close but I would prob go to the lakes or north wales coz they're not too far away
