Me and OH both like the name Lincoln, but would that be silly, seeing as our surname is another presidents name? Lincoln Clinton would just be stupid, wouldn't it? (Surname isn't Clinton, but you get the idea)

Still no phonecall from Consultant, was hoping she'd get back to me today. Fingers crossed, otherwise I'll just lie on the sofa and cry all weekend :(

Oh feeling, did you see AM/Lou/my posts to you??????

If you dont think your Consultant will call, is there someone else you can get into touch with? Hate the thought of you spending the weekend on the sofa in tears.

    I did, thank you :o

I know rationally that its silly to feel bad for being depressed, but I just do. I feel guilty about everything at the moment.

Not really anything else I can do - CPN is my only contact, and if she is off, all I can do is leave messages. They aren't particularly helpful, and an emergency appointment still takes 2-3 weeks!

I'll eat creme eggs instead of crying. Baby seems to like them, he goes mad from the sugar.

There is nothing rational about feeling depressed, I have had mild depression for about a year, started when mum died and I haven't worked for a year. Some days I cry, and some days I am fine. Nothing rational about it all, but I do talk about it, family knows, and I see the doctor, I do see light at the end of the tunnel. Hugs to you. xxx

    hon,

it's not silly, that's the whole point.

you feel the way you do and even though i know you dont feel it (becuase you say you feel guilty about everything) but you shouldn't.

have a cry as well as your cream egg (go careful though as i am not sure bubs will be up for salty tears mixed with sugary cream egg :p )
  • Hi ladies!

not been on for a week or more as been really busy with work so i'm not going to try to catch up this time - hugs to everyone who needs them and congrats to the new arrivals and new joiners.

Had our 20 week scan this week which went well - although baby was playing hide from the sonographer so we have to go back in a week for another one (oh well...if we have to! :D )
And my maternity trousers arrived this morning... Think I should of had a size smaller though, Until my bump gets bigger I'm going to feel like they're falling down...

Krystal - I've got a pair of maternity trousers that have the big elsatic band around the top, which is too big for my current bump (although they are getting tighter) so i have sewn a pleat in the back to pull them in. because they go up so high you can't see it with a top on. Not sure if that's any help to you!

Just made a decision on dinner, kids had theirs at school. Shows I'm feeling pants 'cos I picked out pie and chips which is the kids emergency friends round food. I need the comfort. Hope everyone starts feeling better soon, only a few weeks until spring.
Too many children, too little time!!!

Thanks stargirl, I could probably do that! Just ordered 2 more pairs of trousers from the catalogue crazy clearance bit... And another top lol... Think that will be it for me then... I'm just sick of wearing the same 2 tops all the while because my belly hangs out the bottom of my normal clothes now and I think it looks gross lol..

Whats happened to the forum anyway? Go off to do a bit of online shopping and I come back to find is gone all pastelly...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
