I feel brave enough to join now. Had my 20 week scan today and baby is happy and healthy. This is my 9th pregnancy, I have had 6 miscarriages and I have a beautiful son and daughter. I'm due the day before my 30th birthday

morning not usually up this early on a saturday but OH just left to go london for the weekend its his sisters big 3 0 so they're having a party hes also telling them about bubs. he wanted to tell his side of the family in person and when we knew the sex. so we popped one of the scan pics in a card saying happy birthday love from your nephew. shes baby mad so she'll love it... although got a problem she wants us to go to her wedding of course but its on the 20th of june 8 days after bubs is due i would love to go but we cant ... can we? x

Welcome Elaina -glad you've had some good news.

Elle-Gee, Lincolnshire or Derbyshire are nice. Even North Yorkshire can be lovely (Cherry Burton is very pretty and there's a lovely hotel there, can't remember the name I'm afraid.)

Searching - that's a tough one to call. How far away is the wedding? I'm pretty sure I couldn't be up, around and normal within a week of baby arriving, and that's if he's on time. You could feasibly still be (v heavily) pregnant, in which case you'd probably welcome the distraction, but perhaps not the travelling? It is possible, but unlikely to be easy, whatever your situation at the time. Sorry, that's not a lot of help is it?!

ceers lu t me and OH already aranged that he would go if i could as long ive actually had mister... his side of the family always have there kids early where on my side we're always late so i dont know do want him to rush and be too early but i dont want him to be late and OH miss his sister wedding ... OH says he gets the arkwardness from me :rotfl: x

Well ladies I'm gonna be MIA for a little bit I'm afraid... Not sure how much I'll feel up for posting for a while as will have to sort out travel and what have you - my grandad passed away last night so I will be heading home again for his funeral... I wasn't there for nans but at least I got to say goodbye to her (and to him I guess) before she passed. This time I want to go home for the funeral...

So if you don't see me about don't worry - I'm ok, Roo is ok and DH is ok... I'll just be running around like mad trying to get everything sorted

well had an awful sleep so not in the best of moods?? think its because i didnt sleep yest afternoon? so am planning on cleaning the house(not that it need to much thanks god!) and then making a start on my room! i went up last night and started peeling the wallpaper off to see what it was like underneath and before i knew it i had done half a wall! OH didnt look too impressed when he came up hehe!
