    Afternoon all ,,
Went for my scan today my doctor said i am 7 weeks on monday but n the scan am only 5 weeks and 1 day and they couldnt see much we could see a sac but nothing in it yet as it was too early but at least there was something there:j :j .
They have booked me back in for another scan on 7 feb when i should be 8 weeks according to them or 10 according to my doctor???!!!:o
I dont get how they date these things how weird hope your all having a good day!!
OH is cooking my tea so better get off my bum am sooooo hungry mmm spag carbonara and garlic bread scrummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j :j

I had a early scan at 7and a half weeks but they dated me a week less then i was but by my next scan at 10 weeks baby had caught back up to original dates. could just be as its early and baby is small. It also will depend on when you ovulated in your cycle as the drs date are normally just dated on a 28 days cycle with you ovulating on day 14 - which a lot of people dont......

I still havent sorted anything out and 9weeks left on monday!!! Will try and sort through some bits tomorrow as im starting to worry about how unorganised i am........

Been to a bday party with dd1 today and i am sooo tired again...def not having the nesting period yet so no signs baby is going to turn up early :rotfl: my house is a mess. Best go do dinner and sort the kitchen out a bit - dh has been home alone all day!!!!!!!!!!lol

    hope everyone is feeling ok

  • Sorry not caught up with everything yet, far too much and im beyond exhausted (although only been awake for 2hrs?!).

Lisabell id go with your scan as 11 days is quite a big difference. As the other ladies said most people don't ovulate on day 14 anyway. I you were almost 7 weeks you would've seen the bean + heartbeat. Did you get any pics?

    Hope everyones doing ok :)
  • I have had the laziest day ever. Finished work at 12, picked up the new argos catalogue, and have sat on the sofa looking to see what I can buy with the zero money that I have at the minute !! Have not been allowed into the kitchen for the last 2 hours as DH and DD are baking me a birthday cake for tomorrow !! And am struggling now as it smells lovely and chocolately !!!!:j:j Can't wait for tomorrow now !!

Anyone else on baby 2 or more that had a section previously?

I am feeling a strange stretching feeling around my section scar that is getting really uncomfortable !!! Not sore or anything, just uncomfortable !!!!

    AM I NORMAL???? lol

Hope all the bumps are OK.

Great news about the Asda baby event, I will definitely go and have a look.

I suddenly got a burst of energy after dinner, managed to clean our room and the boys room (which was a bombsite) put away clean clothes, empty and re-fill dishwasher and hoover the whole house top to bottom...I am aching now!!!

Just to open a whole new can of worms my DD has just phoned. Her friend is pregnant, about 14 weeks or so and they work for the same boss. She has been told this week that despite the fact that she has worked there for 2 years she is not fully entitled to all normal pregnancy benefits as she has no written contract. I've just looked this up and simply by accepting the job verbally and starting work she has an unwritten contract and he has broken the law by not given them written terms within 2 months of starting. The same applies to my daughter and OH who have worked for him for 6 years+. She is being told when to leave for her mat leave as the boss doesn't want a heavily pregnant waitress, told to rearrange hours for appointments, no risk assessments have been done and she is still carrying heavy loads. And she was given some paperwork stating that if she doesn't return to work for at least 12 weeks fulltime after the baby arrives she will have to pay back her mat pay. What the hell is he playing at!!!

Just to add I think she's quite young and he's being a bully, gonna be rolling up my sleeves and wading in I think!
Too many children, too little time!!!

I'm on no.3. I had a section with no.1, but that was almost 12 years ago, then a normal birth 3 years later with no.2. I do remember my scar being uncomfortable when I was pregnant for the 2nd time - as you said, not sore, just strange!! Maybe a bit numb if you know what I mean!!

How long ago was your section? I've not felt anything around my scar this time, i'm assuming because its such an old scar now, maybe it felt strange last time because if was still quite new!?!
