Yes, that's the one. Oh well, must just be the different things in different parts of of the country thing again! I was told mine was at 15-16 weeks but then again I had blood tests at my booking in at 8wks and none at 12wks, just the scan and a chat with the consultant. My midwife told me to phone her after the scan, once I'd got a date, and book myself in for the Downs test between 15-16wks. Am 15wks next Sunday so it's the following Wednesday.

I haven't had any blood tests at all & won't til at least week 16 since I haven't had a booking appointment or anything yet :confused:

    Neeeed More Sleeeep :p
  • elle, I think the nuchal fold scan is around 12w and the blood test around 16w. Skintchick, did you have the scan rather than the blood test? I'm not sure how it all works but I know some PCT's, such as mine, don't offer the scan only the blood test. I declined mine.

I asked at my booking appointment if the nuchal fold scan was included at the 12wk scan (just out of curiousity), and the midwife said they had the equipment at our hospital but no money to train people in how to use it!
