Thanks, elle! Little Baby is fast asleep and Bigger Baby has been taken out by her Nanna and Auntie! .

All my visitors have been and gone so I'm taking time out.....with a tin of Roses and MSE! :D.

I'm sure someone recently mentioned the Asda Baby Event?

Just read on HUKD that one is starting on 27th Jan to 15th Feb.

I had both, I think they call it the combined test. THey measured the nuchal fold and then took blood, then I had to wait for the results. They did it all on the 12week scan day though.

I didn;t want it but Oh did so I had it for him but said I would not have a CVS or amnio no matter what it said. He said he just wanted to be prepared if something might be wrong.

how often do they have these? I'm not due till July so wasn;t going to buy things just yet. Is there likely to be another one before July?

This will be the last time I post untill Ive done a pg test next week cos I don't wanna jinx myself! Well, boobs are getting worse,I have to sleep with a light support bra on as when they drop towards my armpits they hurt :rotfl: and during the day, a full support bra AND one of those vests with built in hidden support. We went into town this morning to buy DS a new school polo shirt and the shop owners also own the shop next door, so they are joined,which happens to be a 'baby' shop,couldn't help a quick peek at the prams :rolleyes: I really am jinxing myself here arn't I! I can't help it,I'm so excited that theres a big chance Im preg again Wish me luck girls, I'll go back to lurking now for a while longer.

Afternoon all ,,
Went for my scan today my doctor said i am 7 weeks on monday but n the scan am only 5 weeks and 1 day and they couldnt see much we could see a sac but nothing in it yet as it was too early but at least there was something there:j :j .
They have booked me back in for another scan on 7 feb when i should be 8 weeks according to them or 10 according to my doctor???!!!:o
I dont get how they date these things how weird hope your all having a good day!!
OH is cooking my tea so better get off my bum am sooooo hungry mmm spag carbonara and garlic bread scrummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j :j

It depends when you ovulate hon, as to your dates, and the scan is more accurate than your doctor.

My MW thinks I am six days not as far on as I am, but that's OK by me. I'm sure when you have your NHS scan they will redate you. Mine didn;t because six days didn;t make enough difference, but i'm cool with that as I know the proper dates.

Baby is doing good, estimated weight of 2lbs 2oz. Was difficult as usual, he doesn't like scans.

Had a fall this afternoon, so feel a bit shaken up. No need for an Anti-D injection as I'm due for one in a fortnight anyway. Still feeling pretty low, just sleeping and crying all the time.
