Me too, in the Wirral direction - just off the M53.

3onitsway - Do you know the Wirral Hundred Pub???

Well I am off down the Cheshire Oaks again today, dh needs to change his coat as it had a 'tear' in the arm:rolleyes: While we are there I am going to nip into Clarks to check kids feet and ds1 has been complaining about his school shoes since about week 2 back at school, so I'll see if they have anything reasonably priced.

I also got a £30 giftcard for Boots off the girls at work, now I know they told me to spend it on myself but there really is nothing I need....I have about 20 perfumes, and I am quite boring make-up wise and wear the same colours, and why buy it, when we are always told by the Rimmel Man who comes to change our stand every other month to pick a freebie:D. So I am going to see if they have any steam sterilisers in, as that and a chest of drawers are the only main items I need now....and I might even have a look about at some of the plastic ones (I think it was caz, said she has one).

I will also pick up a tin of baby milk, as I had a long and very disturbing dream night before last about the baby coming and we had no milk in the house....It resulted in dh going off with loads of woman an me chasing round all over town with 3 kids looking for him:p It was very bizarre:o

... Incidentally, if you're thinking of breastfeeding it would have to be the mini-pill or the depo jab until breastfeeding is established.... The combined pill can affect milk supply...

It'll be the mini pill :) I was on four types of combined in four years and had problems eventually with every one of them, then on the same mini pill for another four years and didn't have a prob at all :D

Yes elle - It was me that had the emotional (in a good way) baby clothes washing episode and got a brilliant ebay bargain on a glider chair. I've used it loads this week already and It'll be great for feeding.

Thanks for updating the list - I've just realised how close to the top I am. That would be 7 days away then

Just awaiting teh tesco delivery man to arrive - I snuck in some jam donuts into the order, so that's my treat for today :D

Congratulations on the twins Catz - Icklebeans will be so excited to find someone in the same boat as her.

quick question re: maternity pay. The govt don't take time spent in fulltime education into account when calculating your entitlement do they? someone was trying to tell me they do, and while I am sceptical, they are usually right about these things, so thought I should check it out (would hate to think I was misisng out on anything!)

    Hi Lindsay,

Welcome and congratulations, you need to find the last copy of the list (I think its post 4671 but you'd best check otherwise you'll knock someone off) and add yourself to it.

Re the tiredness Welcome to the next 18 years of your life!

No, honestly the tiredness is worst during the first and last trimesters. Are you taking any supplements? Iron deficiency can make normal pregnancy tiredness worse, but if you think its that then try and eat iron rich foods rather than taking iron tablets as they make you constipated.

Other ladies will be along soon with their advice, its a bit quieter on here at the weekends.
