oh says if we have enough after bubs is born he might get me one but im not sure...
I think it was r.mac who recently struck gold on ebay and found one of these at a good price - keep checking there! Plus people give allsorts of shockingly pricey things away on FreeCycle. I imagine the Sheffield group should be quite big so sign up (if you haven't already) and keep an eye out on there0 -
elle- im already on freecycle and yes it is big
the random things they give away someone was giving a chocolate fudge cake away last night ... would of had it if it wasnt so late, i had a car and dd wasnt asleep :rotfl: ... been guessing ebay but in generally its collection only which although i dont have a car i think i could just about manage it was in the area (taxis are good like that
) ... i think its a case of just checking... just seen kiddicare has them and they take paypal so i might get rid of a few things and get it that way or add to my paypal out my bank each month then get it if i can but any other ideas id be happy for them

Am I right in thinking you can't have a smear test while you're pregnant? How soon after you give birth can you have one?
My mum txt me last night to say I had a letter with the NHS logo on the envelope at home. She went out last night but I phoned my dad to ask him to open the letter and let me know what it said - thought it might be something like confirmation of my next scan date or something, plus I have no secrets from them so I'm not bothered by him seeing it. Turns out it was an "invitation" to arrange a smear test for after my birthday!I'm 25 in Feb and our PCT have a thing where they won't issue you with the Pill after you're 25 unless you've had a smear. Obviously not a prob now, but I'll want to be prescribed it soon after birth and I don't want them to refuse!

I had a smear the month before Aimee was concieved... I've always thought it stimulated something seeing as I'd not got pregnant in the 6 years before... Not sure how long after you can have one but I'm sure the Dr would prescribe the pill for the interim period despite your age?
Incidentally, if you're thinking of breastfeeding it would have to be the mini-pill or the depo jab until breastfeeding is established.... The combined pill can affect milk supply...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
