Ki ra... - like the end of Shakira :) Which is her proper name... she came with it from the RSPCA and already knew it so we've kept it... :)

I like it :D my little "cousin" is Keira said the same way but I quite like both possibilities even tho I occasionally call her kia-ora like the juice :p

Which reminds me does anyone else seem to have dyslexic families?
everytime its a holiday involving cards my family all manage to make a mistake  I wouldn't mind if we had silly names but all 3 of us have got religious names that have been around for 100's of years! I mean seriously how can you not know how to spell Samantha, Matthew and Christopher! God help us if we have a boy coz we've chosen Edgar Aled so they'll never spell that right!

Glad to see you back Tine, and sorry to hear about your nan.

I can finish my earlier message now, got 10 mins before I have to go to Aimee's nativity lol... We've registered the xbox fault with microsoft and they are sending a courier box to package it up and send it back, as long as the fault is the recognised software failure they will fix it, if it's anything else they will send it back unfixed... It should be fine... However, it's going to take 3weeks minimum to get it fixed and there's christmas and new year in the middle of that... DH christmas present from me is a game and xbox live membership and from DD is another game... Apart from that he has a years subscription to empire magazine and the haynes baby manual... So on christmas morning he's going to have a pile of presents that are no good, a present he won't start receiving until January... A book and a pair of socks... I don't really know what to do now... I feel sorry for him that his presents will be useless until the xbox returns but don't have any spare cash atm, and don't want to dash out panic buying him something nice... Oh hang on, I did get him dead set on DVD... So he does have 2 good presents...

Oh and to top it off, the cable went this morning and they won't be able to bring me a new box until tomorrow (would of been this afternoon if it weren't for the nativity)... Looks like we'll have to actually do something together tonight... Although it might not be DH suggestion of naked monopoly....

    Welcome to the list Lydia!

Welcome back MrsT - sorry to hear about your nan.

I've embarassed myself fully this morning. We went over to MIL&FIL's house, and DH helped them put up some holiday decorations. On the way home, morning sickness kicked into overdrive - I just about racked up the car pulling into the driveway fast as I was afraid I was going to be sick in the car. :embarasse I think DH thought I was a bit nuts. Anyway, now I'm sitting in the living room, drinking water and eating tortilla chips and salsa (after downing a scotch egg). I just needed something in my stomach - didn't care what! :rotfl:

We got our nappies today too and had a good laugh trying to figure out where we're going to store them for awhile.

Oh and when I mentioned the red ring of death to DH, he knew exactly what it was. He gave a little groan followed by a sympathetic noise - only a guy, eh?

Good grief Krystaltips - our entire household would come screeching to a scary halt if our cable/satellite box went!

Krystal, if he doesn't mind an hour or so drive up the M6 he could come and play on hubby's xbox he's getting from his mummy :)
Naked monopoly sounds funny! with my boobs as they are everytime I had to lean over to the far side of the board houses and hotels would be all over the place :rotfl:

mmmmm naked monopoly *adds monopoly to shopping list*
I've still not bought DHs christmas pressie nor infact told him what I want! Yikes... Thing is I can't think of anything that I want for me... plenty of stuff for bean or nursery... but we agreed that main pressie should be a pressie for us - not baby related :) We have plenty of baby stuff to come so this is our last grown up christmas!

Is your box huge too? I think we'll keep them in the big box in the spare room and put any bits n bobs we get for bump as time goes by in there too or there is always some space under our bed!

How about Nooki the adult board game? I've never played it but who knows it could be good, get hubby in the mood and give your rabbit a rest ;)
