  • Happy Birthday Toto - no pressure SB!

I've taken DH to work this morning, and am going back to bed - no where near enough sleep last night. I woke up every hour till nearly 5am! I think I'll end up getting more sleep when the baby is actually here at this rate.

  • Well the xbox is fritzed... and sami your vision wasn't far off lol.. I said maybe it had over heated and switch it off to cool down... He was pacing the room like an expectant father going 'it's been 3 mins, shall I put it back on now' but alas he has the red ring of death... It has been reported to xbox but typically came out of warranty in October... Was going to write a long post about it but my friend just turned up to offer me a lift so catch u all later lol
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Did anyone miss me? LOL
Haven't read the end of the last thread let alone the first 20 of this one yet - might save that for tonight - then again with all the going on about ripping and cutting I am not sure I want to!
Bean and I had to make an emergency dash to Denmark as my Nan is very poorly. Sad stuff aside then Bean likes flying I think :) Especially the descent! The short internal "hop" over there had Bean doing aerobics like you wouldn't believe... and again on the bus we had to take next day! Full blown bouncing! Looks like we have a mini martial artist!
Definitely getting a proper belly now... still not gained any weight though so must be coming off somewhere else!
Hope everyone is well and I'll catch you all up later :)

I thought red ring of death didn't come under the warrenty? I might be wrong! It's a "known" fault with it so I think they should repair it for him - does mean christmas without the fun box tho I guess :)

Just Added myself to the Born list - Baby Jack arrived 2 weeks ago. Due to minor pregnancy complications, they bought him out 2 weeks early. Very easy and quick labour (3rd stage less than 5 mins!) no rips/tears etc. All in all, an awful lot better than pregnancy went!

Apologies for not updating the list sooner!

We're allowed 2 birth partners but I only wanted DH. I couldn't stand anyone asking if I was ok every 2mins, which is what my Mum or sisters would be like, and preferred the whole thing to be a private matter just between us.

Oh yes - this makes me crazy. My 22yo DD does this when I'm ill - bless her she's just trying to be helpful, but it drives me mental! DH knows better - when I was in labour he just offered me sips to drink, rubbed my back, and he helped out with the tens machine as well. We did a lot of walking around - and that way when I had a contraction I could just kinda lean on him for a couple minutes, then walk again. Funny, DH didn't want to cut the cord (I think he was a bit worried about passing out or something), he just stayed up by me and was talking with me during the delivery and afterwards. Then he held DS up by me while I got stitched up, so we could chat and count fingers and toes.

I haven't heard of this red ring of death - but it doesn't sound good!

Happy Birthday Toto!!!!! Hope you have a great day!

Labour vibes to all who need them!

Skylight - Congratulations! Wow! over 9 lbs and 2 wks early! Hope you're recuperating well!

Red Ring of Death is actually a "three quarters of a ring of death" but that sounds a lot less cool ;) It's in laymans terms 3 lights out of 4 on the box itself that flash to indicate a general hardware error - and Microsoft have issued a 3 year extended warrenty to cover the red ring of death fault (just checked I wasn't imagining that...) so should be covered :)
And now I'll go get dressed to stop myself boring all the non-geeks on here ;) I really must get out more... :)
