  • It was only for a few hours, Caz ;). I went into hospital at 7:30pm to be induced and had Poppy at 7:47pm the following day :D. Nothing much was going on for ages as I had an epidural and snoozed inbetween contractions :rotfl:.

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I'm imagining him on his knees clutching a controller screaming "noooooooooooooo!"

    Boo! did I scare you?
been busy this aft :) went round to mummy & daddy's where christopher managed to walk into the wall! silly thing was too busy watching the tv instead of watching where he was going, he literally bounced off it :rotfl: no it wasn't funny Sami! :o

MFD: I had a look at some sample birth plans last time, think I got them off babycentre  my only worry is that this time my mum prob won't be at the birth coz she'll be at home with Chris and Hubby is only useful as something to squeeze during a contraction. Oh and Tens machine I found to be rubbish, it just annoyed me I ripped it off and lobbed it across the room at some point - good job it didn't break coz it was hired!

My birth plan basically says I want as little intervention as ness, b/f asap, baby born on to my stomach, MW to announce the gender, baby is having vit K injection, and haven't decided about cutting cord yet - I might do it but not sure. Also need to talk to my sis about her being at birth, she wanted to last time and would prob have been if he wasn't "early" I don't mind her being there but I'm not sure if its a good thing to witness a birth if you've not done it yourself
Feelie (I think you've been at a birth haven't you?) or anyone else have a feeling/opinion on it?
I don't want to scare her although she is a physio so has witnessed some gory things and played with cadavers
I witnessed my friend giving birth when I was 17, and trust me it was one of th most amazing experiences In my life, somethng I'll never forget for all the right reasons, and it didn't put me off!

    morning all,

good luck with work tonight AM. hope Aston's has a lovely time in his play too. he's a sheep isn't he?

i have my 'maternity' trousers on. i am gutted, they really are too big so i am constantly pulling them up. Thinking of ordering another pair, but the size down. not sure as i know i will grow into these ones, but it may take a few weeks?

as for my bump, it's there but i feel quite funny about it. i dont know how to explain it, but if feel like the top part of my bump sticks out and then dips in a bit (as if you are wearing somehting a bit snug) and then the bump lower. trust me to be odd. why can't i just have a nice bump?

    xxx
