Good xmas offer on electronic tommee tippee steriliser on their own site - £15

Says on backorder at moment but can still order at price, tends to be updated every day or so with a batch of them so usually only shows backorder for a day

Thanks for that, just told my best mate about it and she's just bought one.

Is this nappy offer still on? I guess I missed it whilst in Denmark... :( if it's still going can someone post a link? :) Thanks!

I ordered 10 packs yesterday morning.

Item number and order code are on the first page of the boots grabbit thread. (I don't think we're allowed to post it on here!?!)

I had to read it about 10 times before the Huggies bit jumped out an bit me - or is that just me and my baby-brain!

  • Hi everyone!

I have decided I can't possibly keep going out on weekends as it takes me too long to catch up on the chat in here when I get back! :rotfl:

MrsT: Very sorry to hear about your nan. I lost a most beloved nan last year. I still forget sometimes and think "I'll ring nan in a minute", then realise I can't anymore :( .

As for the Xbox red ring problem - we went through this a while ago and we ended up chucking it away. I didn't realise it would be covered by warranty, we bought it ages ago (When they first came out) and just thought there was a years cover on it. (Although, I won't tell hubby it might have been covered :o ).
On the plus side, after we chucked the machine, we sold all his Xbox games on ebay and made £300+ for them - some of them sold for more than he paid for them new  and this paid for a new PS3 and some games to keep him out of trouble!

I must admit I skimmed through the tearing and stitches chat earlier as it made me panic, eventhough I will prob be having c/s anyway!

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow and my first consultant appointment at the hospital - so will let you know how it goes. I have also had my first Antenatal Physio appointment come through for the 30th December - which is sooner than I thought it would be.

Tine - sorry to hear about your nan, will you be going back over for the funeral?

I am definitely going to have a look at that boots nappy code, I think I need to keep a closer eye on the grabbit/codes boards I never really look in there.

Skylight - congratulations on the birth of baby Jack.

Lydia - welcome to the board.

I was going to say something else but can't remember what it was!! Well I am off for a lie down for an hour before picking up the kids, I have just been to see my friend and her 5wk old baby, which included a three and a half mile walk there and back, so I am shattered now.

    Hello Chatty ladies :)

MrsT - sorry about your Nan. Its lovely that you and bump got to go and see her. ((Hugs))

I feel pregnant now. Saw Bro yesterday, and he touched my bump. Luckily his fiancee told him off. Must mean I have a visibile bump! Saw a picture of myself yesterday, first once since being pregnant. I look massive, although bump is properly round, I'm sure I still just look fat to other people.

I've got an Xbox 360 in the cupboard, never bothered with it. I'm definitely a PS3 girl instead. Still only 60% complete on GTA4 though, need to start working on that again. I get a bit obsessive about these things. First thing Mum asked me when discussing Christmas was if I'd bring the Wii. Think she wants to see that more than she wants to see me!

I'm off to get my nails done - they grow pretty fast anyway, but they are growing stupidly fast at the moment, need to be done every 2 weeks. Hopefully baby won't mind making a trip to the nail place regularly!
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

Thanks - no mel not planning on going back for the funeral... the flights over cost over £350 and I did what was important to me, her and the family which was spend some time with her before she fell asleep. Whilst it would be nice to be at the funeral she'd be upset if I wasted money on coming back for that - as she'd say it's not like "she's" there so what's the point? :)
I was with her when she "was" there and that is what matters.
Seeing a coffin being lowered into the ground is nothing more than that to me... I already said my goodbyes :)
I've arranged for flowers and I will visit her grave when I go over in spring.

    Hi Everyone,

I'm at home today and tomorrow after working 7 days on the trott.

I fell asleep at 9 O'Clock last night and didn't get up until midday today (well other than to pee at 7 this morning, in the dark with my eyes shut!).

When I went to the toilet at about 1 I noticed a bit of blood on the toilet seat (obviously from my previous visit) and when I looked there was a evidence that I had bled a little at some point. It isn't a great deal and I have no pain but it's really upset me. Please can someone tell me there are other explanations for bleeding.

I still haven't heard off the midwife and it's been 2 weeks since I left my details for her. I just called and their closed. Really feel left in the lurch given that it's my 1st baby.

I hope everyone else is well.

  • Lets hope that all the MSE babies get on with Huggies! :D. Its all I've had Poppy in for 14m - never deviated to supermarket own brand just in case they were not as good ;)

I have counted 19 newborn size 1 packs in the nursery! :o.

    Still no sign of baby..........
