Everyone I speak to say warm baths only - not hot! And I'm a firm lover of hot baths!!!
Better safe than sorry i think! However I do think it's more in early pregnancy than later on you need to worry - I could be wrong though!

Isn't the hot bath thing because the baby can't regulate it's own temperature, like we'd naturally sweat to cool down?

Althought i dont have them as hot as usual, when i was pregnant with DS I had a rediculously hot bath and nearly passed out when i got out.

You have another week to catch up with SB :o

If she stays in another week, it'll be a terrible BOY'S name for her!

I think so. I remember one of the emails saying he was starting to develop that bit of the brain, but it'd be a long while yet before he could do it completely.

Suppose my hot baths aren't too bad - my bump is so enormous it sticks out of the water

    Thanks for the answers.

As I am only a couple of weeks (long as the test this morning was correct), I will stick to just warm/hot for now rather than hot/hot. I wasn't sure if it was just an old wives tale but will just be a bit careful.

    Thank you, I'm sure I'll be back........
