the icandy seems to be a pram that only certain people stock and is not really available online??? not sure why this is? i didnt find the icandy to suit my needs with a new baby plus a 13 month old but can see how it would be great for twins! esp with the car seats!

must be a day for taking trees down just done ours and my living room looks so bare??? im not really liking this bare look and think OH will be upset its all down??? oh well new car to pick up soon so that should keep him amused:D

  • congratulations JAM - I had period type pains, thought AF was on her way, opened some wine, then discovered 2 weeks later that actually I probably shouldn't have!

Ems, if you've got a sore throat, fruit tea with honey in it will make you feel a bit better. If you are bunged up or chesty, then steam will help - either do the "lean over a bowl of hot water with a towel over your head" thing, or just go relax in the bath for a bit! Other than that, paracetamol, lots of fluids, and sleep :) Your body is working extra hard making a baby AND getting you better, so make OH look after you, and call in sick on Monday if you need to! Even if you don't normally for colds, it's not a bad idea at the moment :)

My OH is being a pig..

He seems annoyed at me that I woke him up at 2pm! I got up two hours before that and spent my time throwing up so it was hardly a barrel of laughs for me! He's since stomped around the house, thrown a plate of toast at me then stomped off to the shops. He rang my mobile apparently but I didn't hear it cos it's at the other end of the house - totally my fault, despite me sitting in the same room as the landline and he could have called that. Then the digital box stopped working and he disappeared to his comp room, knowing I was left without anything to watch... obviously hoping I would be forced into getting up and doing the housework whilst he lazed about!

    ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!

    Sorry, rant over.. *sigh*
  • 2pm! He's going to have a shock when baby arrives ;)

Do you have to avoid dog poo too? Are there any other types of poo to avoid? I thought it was just cat poo.

(Can't believe I've just said poo so many times in one post.)

OK i'm getting pretty paranoid about my bump now, i feel like a whale, just seen 3 people up the shop who were all basically shocked that I still have 3+ months to go :o
I also had a crisis earlier cos me tops are sarting to ride up my belly now, I am not used to it, well didnt have to get any maternity stuff with DS, looks like I'm goign to have to now! it's annoying though coz it;s only my belly that things dont fit, if anything my clothes have got looser elsewhere :(
Oh well I've cheered myself up by buying myself a chocolate sponge pudding and some devon custard  (yeah like i'm not going to carry on ballooning!)

Get yourself some belly bands AM! I'm wearing normal PJs and they stop my belly being on show for everyone.

Why not post a piccie of your bump so we can see how huge you are?
