Thanks for the reassurance. Just been to Sainsbury to buy some pregnancy mags (still can't believe it happened so quick) and some more tests - just to be certain.

OH wants PC now but will prob be on here more often now.

Starting to get a bit more excited -three tests to go (two more tomoz am - one digital) and then I gonna tell ma and pa.

Off to read my mags - thank you

    Hello all,

    Welcome to the newbies!

Bit of an overall update from me:

Successful outcome to all our research! We have finally bought a pram for the twins. It is the icandy pear tandem pram. We have played with it and it seems easy to use etc:
    http://www.icandyuk.com/products_detail.php?id=pear_stroller
We have the pram and the carry cots. Maxi Cosy car seats fit this model but we are buying these from the internet as they are cheaper (MSE!).

Also went to Mothercare and bought stuff in the sale plus I had a 10% discount card (from somewhere) and a £50 giftcard. We have bought moses baskets x 2:
    http://www.mothercare.com/Please-Look-After-Moses-basket/dp/B001BX10LS/sr=1-2/qid=1230995104/ref=sr_1_2/276-0717427-6772268?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=44361031&mcb=core

And also costs x 2 (but not mattresses as will buy them separately off the net):
    http://www.mothercare.com/Jamestown-cot-bed-Antique-Pine/dp/B000JDZR1U/sr=1-1/qid=1230995211/ref=sr_1_1/276-0717427-6772268?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=44362031&mcb=core

So, after not buying anything other than 570 nappies (2 x deals from the fab Boots glich!) I have settled my mothering fix for the time being! :j

I am 21 weeks today. Since we found out they were twins at the end of Oct, no more twins to be have appeared on here. :o

I can feel them moving quite a bit now. Well, mostly twin 2 which seem never to keep still and hubby felt it for the first time the other day. That was lovely.:T

I have no broken ever pregnancy food rule - pate, blue cheese, prawns, swordfish, raw fish etc and am still have my glass of red twice a week.:D

The leaky right boob is still happening as it the awful (Gavison alert) heartburn. I also think I look quite big now for 21 weeks. Am shattered!:o

Also bought a swimming costume as haven't been swimming for months and want to keep my mobility up.

Then it hit me the other day, wow, this is the year I am to become a mum for the first time and a mum to twins - how fab! :j
Proud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T

Me and my 5yr old DS have just taken down the Xmas tree, front room looks huge. Doesn't take much and I'm knackered. Dreading going back to work next week. OH has said he thinks I should give up work ASAP. Bad memory but I think that's 29 weeks isn't it? I work all day 5 days a week in a school as a one to one. Poor child is used to me jumping round the playground with her but I'm gonna be as much use as a wet blanket! Anyone else struggling at work?
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p

It's a shame you're not near me AM, kiddisave do that one... And they're usually cheaper in the shop than they are on the net, especially if you can get the display model!
    http://www.kiddisave.co.uk/do/product/graco-mosaic-one-ts-with-carseat-2008-city.html

We're going to be ditching the tree either today or tomorrow... Dreading the needle drop though, despite constant watering and it being an alleged 'low drop' it's shedding all over the place!

Tara, the tiredness is awful at first but it does start to pass, you'll feel a lot better in a couple of weeks...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Aww Icklebeans I did wonder if you'd go for the iPear :) I saw it at JL the other day when we went in and looked at the iCandy - where did you get yours from?
I'm going to see if I can get a better price than JL and get them to price match - if not shall have to bite the bullet and just cough up I guess... *sigh*

    Thanks Mrs Tine!

The only problem we have found with icandy prams is that you rarely find a price on the net and have to go into shops to find out. We have since discovered that icandy make the stockists sign contracts so the prices are generally fixed. We got ours from a local shop up here in West Yorkshire and its cost £583, plus we have to buy the car seats on top. Not cheap!

I know... JL is the only chain that they have allowed to market the iCandy - smaller stockists are allowed but no-one like mama's and papa's or mothercare etc... bah humbug!
