Hi again, thanks so so much for the congrats
I just can't believe there is a 2nd line on the test, keep staring at it to check its not in my imagination lol. There has been bad news over in 12+m so i feel too bad to post. I posted in here about tea time... was so exhausted i fell asleep shortly after! I wish i could sleep for 9 months and wake up with a healthy baby, would save all this anxiety!! It's going to be hard waiting 12 weeks for a scan, i hoped i could 'forget' about it until then but i can see already that won't be possible lol.
I don't ovulate on my own - this last 2 months i've been getting fertility reflexology, it got me ovulating 2 months in a row and i'm convinced its contributed to my BFP!She also does maternity reflexology, and not a single client has had morning sickness! Will see if that works for me.
Elle_gee - i used a self hypnosis fertility CD this month, i'm very cynical about these things but i have to say - after only 10 mins it puts me into a fab sleep every time! I definitely think hynobirthing would be worth trying.
Sami_Bee - we are also looking for a king size bed (as cheap as possible). I'm almost 6 foot and DH 6'4 so we're really struggling in a double. Just got the double for £50 @ Tesco Direct but it broke the next day! Do let me know if you find any good ones in the sale? I saw one in Argos for £185, that's maybe the cheapest i'll find?
This thread moves alot quicker than the other so i'll try to keep up! Thanks again for such a warm welcome, really hope this will be a healthy bean and i'll be able to stick around0 -
Myaccount, My hubby is 6'2" I'm not tall but we've been making do in the spare room with him in a single and me in the spare bed that is ment to live underneath it, it was supposed to be temporary until Chris was in his own room and then we'd start the replastering in our actual room but 2yrs on we're still in it  I measured our makeshift bed and its about the same as a king, when we stay over at MIL's or my parents in their spare doubles his feet hang over the end and it feels like we're sleeping on top of each other, I don't understand how anyone can sleep in a double they're just not big enough!
we have to get the rooms sorted now as otherwise bump won't have a bedroom to move into when he/she is too big for the crib and a cot won't fit in the spare with us!
I'm so glad you've got your BFPbefore I had Chris I didn't understand why people tried so hard for "one of their own" but now I totally get it! we are planning to become foster parents when we can afford a bigger house and I know that even though I know I will love and care for the foster children, I don't think I could ever love someone else as much as I love my own. Chris makes me cry at least once a week just from sheer pride/love/happiness oh look at me the big sappy thing - I've got ears in my eyes now! xx

Right, the reason I'm came in this morn was to tell you about this comp its just to win some preg vits and an organic sleepsuit n bits n bobs set but I though you may be interested in the vits that are part of the prize coz they claim to stop bump having allergies, I'm not convinced that its possible but may be worth a try
ETA: just checked to see if it was posted in the comps thread and it is so if you need the answer its here
Also just seen a survey on askbaby the Qu was when did you tell your family you were expecting? the results so far were
As soon as BFP - 61.2%
After 3 mths - 32.9%
After starting to show - 5.9%
I see most people could wait to tell (just like me the 1st time!)0 -

I'm in a whingy mood today! Some days I'm more achy than others, and today I commented to OH that baby is having a growing day. He said he prefers it on days when he doesn't grow because I don't whinge as much!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

I know what you mean FG, I feel ever so achy when baby's having a growth, and last night I felt the baby move and then my pelvis was absolutely killing me without even moving so it must of been pushing against it... Hope it doesn't do that again! On the plus side, hubbies been taking Aimee up to bed for me after I've read her story so I don't have to struggle up and down the stairs too often...
Got my friends children for a couple of hours today... I decided they needed happy meals for lunch so hubbies popped to McD's for me(he txt to ask if I wanted 1 big mac or 2 lol.. I told him he could decide... I can't commit myself either way...)

Oh felt the baby for the first time over Christmas. Think it made it a bit more real, he told me that he believes that I'm pregnant now. Did he think I was just making it up before!
Could you just get him to sit with his hand on your belly while you watch TV for a while?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
My hubbies always mauling my belly lol, baby just always seems to kick to the back or down so think it will be a long time before he gets a kick... He's glad it can hear him now though, he spends a while lying on me giving baby 'Daddy is best' propoganda speeches before bed...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... All this talk of food poisoning reminds me of a few years back when some 'friends' gave us ice cream for dessert. It was in Israel and it must have been left out in the heat, melted and then refrozen. I have never been so ill before or since. I shall not be visiting them whilst I am pregnant!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0
