Elasitgirl, have you tried a clearblue? They're pretty definite, spell it out either way... Otherwise, pop into the Drs and ask for a pregnancy test, if it comes up negative and you haven't had a proper period then there must be a reason... (This was my Dr's reasoning a few years ago when I rarely had a regular period)

We're not finding out what we're having either... I didn't with Aimee, but more because they didn't ask me... I was unsure if I wanted to know so thought I would leave it in their hands... If they'd of said 'do you want to know?' I wouldn't of been able to help myself... But they didn't ask... It was lovely having a surprise, and I'm glad I didn't have the opportunity to dash out and buy a pile of newborn things in pink because her newborn white babygros lasted a whole 2 weeks!

I absolutely definitely don't want to know this time either... I thought I would... But I really don't, I want that surprise at the end... And I want other people to be excited to find out too... Hubby on the other hand really desperately wants to know, but then he buys me presents and can never wait to give them to me because 'he loves to see my face' and I know he wouldn't be able to keep it a secret, either from me or other people! Plus we've chosen names now and if we knew what we were having he would go round telling everyone the name etc and I really don't want people to know... I don't want anyone putting us off them before the baby comes... (It still niggles a bit that I have a daughter called Aimee when I really wanted one called Catherine... But that's Nan's for you...) I told him last night, it will only be 4 months between the scan and the baby being born, that was how long we were together as a couple before we booked the church for our wedding, it will go by in the blink of an eye!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

sls, do you not have anyone who could look after him in your house? That way if you go in the night there's no need for him to know until the morning when he wakes up (and with any luck you'll be home soon after)

Mum doesn't like the name I've chosen, she thinks its a cats name!

OH isn't 100% but can't think of anything else. I'm decided though!

Probably Toby, although I like Tobin too. Is Tobin a bit too 'odd'?

Can you not get them and him together a bit more before the arrival so he can get a bit used to them?
    I'm sure he'll be fine.

I wouldnt say it was odd, it's different and different can't be a bad thing. and anyway what to me is odd to you might be fantastic and visa versa, I could of slapped my cousin the other week for screwing her face up at my baby's name, even if i hated a name i'd never let on, i think it's rude.
But I do prefer Toby, think it;s a sweet name.

is the reason he's not been to anyones because there isn't anyone? if it is I'm a bit stuck but if its just coz you've never felt the need then maybe you should let him see whomever a few times so he won't be upset when the time comes. Is it too late for a HB?

Krystal after hearing it a few times over Christmas in hymns n stuff I've decided that Emanuel is really nice name :D is it still on the list

I can beat that AM we want to call bump Edgar if its a boy - we've loved it since before we actually ttc'd but 1/2 our friend n fam hate it (wish I'd kept it secret maybe they'd be more polite if the bubs was actually here) My sis has actually point blank refused to ever call it Edgar she says she'll use it's middle name if we do!
