Yes i didn;t mean get one right now - I was told minimum six weeks and if you can wait till eight you get a better picture, so that's what we did and we were also able to hear the heartbeat then.

:rotfl: sorry jumping the gun abit ... they suggest 6 weeks coz if you leave it til 8 weeks like mine you need surgery where as if you find out at 6 weeks you can have tablets or an injection x

You know more than me, I didn;t have an ectopic, just a 'normal' mc.

well anything to help someone else... but dont worry luv you'll be fine i was terrifed when i first found out but im now gonna be 17 weeks on saturday.. and we're all here if you wanna talk about it x

When i was carrying DS midwifes or whoever i was seeing at the time would always say i looked bigger than i was but i always measured correctly, one lady said that it's because i'm so short there is less room so it makes me seem bigger or sommat

How tall are you? I'm 5ft 5 I think, so not really short. Shall see what Midwife says on the 8th! Back to regular appointments again, got 26 week one, 28 week one and a Glucose Tolerance Test soon.

How sure are you about your dates? I still don't trust mine!

I'm 5ft nothing!
I've got me 26 weeks check next then the glucose test at 28 weeks, then it's every 2 weeks from there, but that might change as we go along, dont have to see a consultant now though unless I get to 40 weeks.
Yes I'm pretty sure about my dates I've had plenty of scans and the ones I had in London were pretty indepth and hightech.

My Mum is about your height, she said that when she was pregnant the baby only ever led across her belly as there was nowhere else for them to go! She said she had a really wide bump that came out at the sides - is yours like that?

I think thats is just me being impatient. I want it to be wrong so I can have the baby sooner! 109 days is so far away! I've got another Anti-D injection appointment soon.

Happy New Year all! Sounds like I'm the only one who had a good night last night, although I could have done with going to bed a bit earlier than 2:30 ... oops! I decided that at this stage in the proceedings, there was no point being too paranoid about limiting my wine, so I probably had a little bit more than the NHS would recommend (I probably had about 3 or 4 units, so not LOADS). I figured it's only one night, and at this stage it's unlikely to do anything drastic. I did get lots of kicks though! I think the baby was dancing on tables in there

SB - Jamie is gorgeous Massive though - oh my. Me, my brother, DH and his brother were all under 7lb, so I'm hoping that is a good sign, and we will be at that end of the scale, not up with you!

I'm getting well and truly impatient (and massive) now, so hopefully things will get moving in the next few days. Midwife is going to do a sweep when she comes on Tuesday if nothing has happened by then. All the Grandparents-to-be are getting impatient too - MIL is going on holiday on the 14th, so she's going to end up missing out if baby doesn't get a wiggle on!
