oh and sorry Jvic, we were chatting on our quiet work day but i got busy and didnt get a chance to reply or say bye  hope you doing ok.
That's Ok. I know what it's like. Luckily, I've been off work since and not back until Monday. Woohoo! This is the 1st day I've had at home for me time today though. Visiting relitives etc but glad to be home now. Gonna do a bit of cleaning so me and the hubby can spend some quality time together on the weekend.

elastigirl wrote: »Hi i am hoping to join you all properly soon as i think i am pg but we don't quite believe i am yet as i have done 2 tests which failed and one yesterday that was very faint i am sure i can see a line but dh thinks i am seeing what i want to see. I am now 8 days late so i would have thought i would have got a stronger line.
The problem i have and is why dh thinks i am not is i have had some spotting it started on tuesday evening quite pink and light only when i wipe toward the end of the night it was old brown blood nothing wednesday but yesterday again a bit of brown blood in the day but then before i went to bed i had quite a bit of pink/red blood about 2 wipes worth then nothing again this morning. I don't want to look a fool if i go to docs and he says no your not pg. I will def go though next week when ds goes back to school as it has to be sorted.
I hope its the result you want in the end Elasti
the spotting maybe implantation, I had 1 day of very light spotting about a week after my AF was due, had a 6 wk scan to check nothing had gone wrong and all was fine.:T My lil bubs is swirling round in my tum as I type so hopefully same will go for you xx0 -
Candice - maybe you could wait a few weeks and have a private scan if you 'really' want to know for definate. (Cash permitting of course). I think a few of the lovely ladies on here have had one.
With this one, the sonographer (sp!) asked if we wanted to know, then said in a definate, no nonsense way 'its a girl'. OH says she was so matter of fact about it, she must have seen a definate fufi. MIL has gone out buying a mountain of pink things (its her first grandchild, after 4 sons herself, so she's enjoying the pinkness!). I'm still not totally convinced, and have bought a unisex vest/babygrow/hat and white snowsuit for her to come home from hospital in - just incase.
With DS they saw a definate widgy at the 20 week scan, but with DD they said they 'don't think' they can see a widgy.
But with both, I didn't go out buying pink or blue - we had fun doing that after they'd arrived.:beer:0 -
As soon as Hubby is awake and get give me his Credit Card, I'm booking my 4d Scan! The place recommends 26 or 27 weeks, so I'm hoping they'll fit me in on the 17th! £235 so baby better be a bit more co-operative that he has been on every other scan.
I've got two sets of NHS scan pictures, 13+1 and 21+3, and both are rubbish. I've got two sets of private pictures and they are much better. Don't know if that is just luck or what.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
I'd love to get a 4D scan but cant afford it, and tbh when the baby comes you rarely look at san pics again, baby is much more interesting in real life!
Well i'm dossing again now, told work I cant work any more shifts, only got 4 weeks till MA kicks in and wouoldnt be getting any wages till the end of Feb anyway so it's not skinting me.
I'm bloody ill full of a cold again, and it;s doing me nut in, only just got over one a few weeks ago, feelign so run down!:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

That sounds very expensive feelie! the most exp 4d I've come across was £200
I think you get better pics from the private ones coz they are more customer focussed IYKWIM I get the impression most scan peeps in the NHS get annoyed when you ask for pics, esp if you want a few different views! :rolleyes:0 -
Now that I am 26 weeks I am getting increasingly worried about what to do with my 2 year old when I go into labour.
He has never stayed with anyone overnight so I am really hoping I do not go into labour in through the night. I ams so worried I am even thinking off going it alone and leaving my DH to look after DS.0 -

I've been to this place before and they are very good. You get a whole 45 minute video, which is the longest I've found anywhere. He often takes a lot of poking to get him to do things, so I need a long time! This counts as my Birthday pressie from OH.
Just catching up on Eastenders, Sean just found outI'm glad that real life isn't like soaps!
