Elle, I'm not dressed yet either... Nor is Aimee! Although we will have to get dressed soon... Little madams gone and got another water infection so we're off to the Dr after lunch for some antibiotics... Dr wants to refer her to a paediatrician about it but spoke to him this morning and he's agreed that we'll wait and if it happens again within 2 months she'll be referred then... I'd rather not get her poked at if its not strictly neccessary....

:o you've just reminded me that after bump arrives I'll be having my rubbish bladder investigated :( when I told my sis they'd put in a referral to physio her responce was "ha ha your gonna get fingered by the physio!" love you too sis! but she did ask the womens bits physio from work if I could do anything while pg to help

    Miss_C I've got this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RooBaby-Carrier-Baby-Ring-Sling-sz-Medium-Blue_W0QQitemZ360120319588QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCarriers_Backpacks?hash=item360120319588&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
my advice is be quick, I got it as chris always wanted to be carried but by the time I got it he was too used to being on my shoulder (still his fave place to be ) so he didn't use it but I'll be putting bump in it from early days but am thinking of getting one this style too http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Moby-Wrap-Sling-In-black-Used-twice_W0QQitemZ150318734491QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCarriers_Backpacks?hash=item150318734491&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1298%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
I saw a mum using one in tesco and thought it look more secure and i watched her put her baby in to on her back by herself and it as quite easy n simple :)

I also had this one given to be and don't like it http://www.amazon.com/6-in-One-Rider-Carrier/dp/B000JOSQZS
it is really uncomfortable and diggs into my shoulder blades no matter how I adjusted it it felt "wrong"

I've had the same sort of thing, bordering on migranes, I would seek advice from your midwife or doctor, the doc could possibly prescribe some codine which is a bit stronger and can be pretty effective when taken with the paracetamol, but apparently not all docs will prescribe this.
But deffo get yourself checked out xx
But one thing you need to make sure is that you are keeping yourself well hydrated, lots of water.
My midwife also said that a bit of dark chocolate and a can of coke might help (i have no idea why though!)

HUGE thanks to you for this, first time in a while I didn't wake with a headache, relief! When I woke for the loo at about 3am I had another drink of coke as well as before bed and it really made a difference. Asked MW this morning at my appointment and she said it's the caffiene in it. Don't care as long as it helps, going out in a bit to stock up. Also had some good news about my home birth, consultant wrote saying although not recommended they couldn't stop me which I did know. But the best news was the Group B Strep doesn't always mean you can't give birth at home unless when they test me at 34 weeks they find it in my urine, which it wasn't last time. It was on a swab which is ok unless you have a long labour. Very happy!!!

Tara no need to worry about the caffiene (I think) you're allowed something like 6 glasses of coke if its your only source of the stuff ;)

any of you ladies seen a Moby wrap baby carrier for cheap anywhere? I've only just found them on ebay as the lady I got my sling off last time used to make them but doesn't seem to anymore just thought if you'd seen one will save me some searching, they are around £30 inc p&p on ebay

MW thought headaches would probably be gone at about 16 weeks, something to do with the placenta. She said as I don't drink hardly any coffee and am quite careful about eating it won't hurt.
My bloods came back fine too so not worried.

I read that about coke too sami, yet my midwife told me not to drink it when I had my home visit... I told her at the time it was the only thing that stopped me feeling sick so I'd carry on if she didn't mind :p

I'll be getting a sling for this one too I think. I had a tomy freestyle carrier for Aimee which meant I could go to the toilet with two hands (novelty!) but it was no good for walking distances, it used to put strain on my pelvis the same as pregnancy did...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
