Nah, he'll do it when he wants to and If i say anything like that he'll carry on just to be stubborn, he's like a child at times

What about suggesting he uses one of those nicorette inhalers while he's ill at least it will help him stop coughing for now  and won't affect you n aston's lungs ;)

I've learnt with OH that there isn't anything I can do to persuade him or force him to give up smoking. When he is ready, he'll do it. Its difficult. Just try to be as helpful as you can when he decides its time. OH is hoping to give up before the baby is born, fingers crossed. Its been 26 months since I gave up!

Well we have had our scan complete with 4 pictures - 2 head ones,a spine one and a cute ickle feet pic :)
Then went for lunch and came back to see the consultant who says there is no need for us to come see them again just proceed as normal.
The placenta isn't low lying, we have the normal amounts of arms and legs and everything looks good! And we're right on target for a baby around the 7lb mark... give or take...

Typical isn't it? We don't want a home birth and everything is so spot on that they even asked us if we wanted one! :rotfl: I said thanks but no! I want to be near the drugs ta very muchly!

And we will be batting for team Girl! WOOHOO

just been for a check up, i am 32 weeks and baby is still in the breach position, midwife expected it to be turned by now..... as any one else had this problem and any sugestions how to help it turn.....

if not turned in 2 weeks got to go for another scan and the hospital will try and turn it round...
  • Glad all the scan are going well - can't believe how busy we have been the last few days or so :D

Our New Years Eve plans have fallen though  we had planned to go to my friends who have a 3 month old - they didn't want to go out and neither did we but she called today to say the baby is poorly at the moment (she's okay but is vomiting and has ear infections). My friend says she has enough problems worrying about her own baby without having to worry about mine too :rotfl:

It would have been lovely to see them and it was a perfect way to spend a pregnant new year...now I feel guilty about what we are going to do. The local pub is pap and I don't fancy doing any boozy party or worse still, going out into town

Is anyone else doing anything nice?

kurjam I saw a program on TV where a lady was trying to turn the baby herself and she was told that sitting down too much in like the sofa etc was encouraging it to lie the wrong way? so she ended up basically on all 4s for hours on end in the evening - but it worked for her :) Might be worth trying?
