Elle - stupid question does P as in 6p mean petite?

I was assuming so, although the size chart just lists Short at 27.5" and Regular as 29" - not mention of Petite..

Oh, hang on, found the Petite bit.. it says Petite sizes are for those 5ft 3" and under. How tall are you?
  • I'm only 5' :o so usually petite is about right. I think i will order them i could always get them taken up

MFD (and anyone else doing aquanatal classes), can I ask, are you finding them beneficial and were you fit before you started?

I'm contemplating it but I'm not really very fit. I quite fancy swimming as exercise but I think I read somewhere about not doing breaststroke legs because of something to do with stretching your legs/pelvis too far (or is that only something to worry about if you get SPD?) and breaststroke is the only one I can do :o

elle I went swimming the other weekend with DH and found it really hard as I have big boobs. so at the best of times I'm not streamlined and front end tends to "bob" up a bit... but with a belly full of Bean it's impossible to actually stay horizontal!

Right off to bed - tomorrow I get to see Bean again! YAY! Scan appointment is at 11:30 and then consultant at 1:15 so should be fun... ah well at least we can pop out for some lunch or something between the appointments :)
Have my can of cold coke ready for the car journey so Bean should be bouncing off the walls by the time they scan me ;) heehee!

Next petite is 30" inside leg, I'm wearing a pair of non mat jeans from them right now :p I think most stores class 30" as short/petite.
At least with Jeans you can get a style that looks good with turn ups, thats what I did last time

I think aquanatal is done in the shallow bit so can put feet on bttom and is mostly vertical not horizontal like swimming, as far as I know the legs is just for spd but you could always do b/s arms and little lady like kicks with your legs if you fancy a swim. Personally even last time when I looked pretty good for a preg lady I wouldn't be seen dead in a swim suit :rotfl:
