congratulations Miss C! Glad to here he's here safe and well - I'm afraid to ask but *gulp* when you have time do share your (horror) story with us :)
Whilst possibly scary I'm one of these people who'd rather know before hand even if it's a worst case scenario! At least then I can prepare myself for it and have some idea of how I'd handle it etc :)

CONGRATULATIONS MISS_C - Sorry to hear things didn't go to well, at least you are both safe and well.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
  • Congratulations Miss C :) Sorry it didn't go how you planned - I'm sure you will get used to the idea that he is all yours, and you don't have to give him back eventually!

Shellsuit - let me know if you have any problems with your boss - I can probably help you put together a more professionally worded letter or whatever if it comes to it! It is probably worth getting doctor to refer you to physio, as it may be that a) it's not siaticia, and is SPD (my doctor said mine was a trapped nerve... gps don't know everything!) and b) whatever it is, the physio should be able to give you some help with the cause of it (exercises, support belt, whatever) rather than just relying on pain killers to stop you feeling it as badly :) Good luck!

Miss_C what day did the lovely Gethin arrive? Sorry it didn't go well for you :kisses3:
I've banned students from participating in my birth, I'm happy for them to watch but I selfishly want the ones who are experienced doing the hands on stuff!

    Congrats SB!!! xxx

SB - congratulations on the safe arrival of the huge Jamie :D I can't believe he also went 11 days overdue - just like poppy :D Can't wait to hear the details and see pictures.

Miss-C congratulations on the safe arrival of Gethin - sorry it wasn't a great experience, but I'm sure he's worth it :D

Well, I'm back after running around the country visiting family and friends and boy is it nice to be home. I got beautiful presents - and all for me, no sharing with hubby or the bump :D I'm off to test out the new Jo Malone fragranced bath stuff in a wee while......

MW apt this morning - measuring a little over my dates (despite MW (!!!!!) and everyone else telling me that I look very neat and do I have my date right). Apart from that everything going well. On the big countdown now as that's me 36+2

SIL has booked flights to visit us the weekend after baby is due, despite me asking her not to. So I'm now convinced that if bump is anything like me it'll stay put until she's been and gone again - so schedule me in to be late like SB :D

trying to find a changing bag that I like and despite my trawling I'm having the same old gender colour problem, but not sure whether to hold off or not...

    hello to everyone

Listen to ladyb she speaks wisely ;)
Physio's know a lot more than people think, My sis is a physio and often has to correct Dr's and consultants that are out of touch

I've just asked hubby If I could have a scan as a mother's day pressie as I'll be around 30wks then and 20wks without me n Chris seeing baby is too long me thinks! but he said it was too expensive :( oh well I have 12wks to get round him! he thinks its just an excuse to try n find out the sex  I only want normal ultra sound not 3d or owt so shouldn't be too expensive!
