orning/afternoon all well im just up after a scarey night! of all the night Charlie picks to get ill it had to be last night and i mean he was really ill. went to check on hm at the back of ten and his breathing was really fast, phoned NHS24 and they sent him to small hosp along the road. He was put on the nebuliser and they still werent happy so we were sent to the childrens ward at the hosp where my nephew died. i ended up in tears and all the poor staff were trying to keep me calm. After a long wait and a few fantastic docs they soon realised that i had dealt with asthma before and let me take him home at 4.30 this morning. they were more worried about me driving home at that time than Charlie! by this time he had run out of all him tricks, blowing raspberries, clapping, singing, jumping need i go on! and they said he was the happiest sick baby they had ever met. he is still quite chesty today but not as bad as last night and im exhausted. feels a bit strange though after me being so upset all day and having to go back to the same place exactly 2 years on, do you think its a sign? or am i going mad and just tired lol!

glad all the scans went well and hope eveyone is ok x

caz, I think it's just one of those random things that happens, don't read too much into places or dates... I know how scary it is when they don't breath properly though, Aimee got croup last year and I was bricking it on the phone to NHS direct, how I didn't just ring an ambulance I'll never know!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Both my mum's chihuahuas who just gave birth had scans at the vets and they printed pics for us. The scans were about £120 each so more than a human scan!! The equipments the same I think, although watch out in case they try to shave your belly!!!!

LOL Knowing my mate she would too just to be funny ;) Interesting that they can print the pics too - and the good thing is that I doubt very much it would cost me more than a bottle of wine hehehehe why didn't I think of this before!!!!

Ah well have 20 week scan tomorrow and then maybe I can sneak up and see her once a month for the rest of the duration ;) heehee!

  • Hello again,

Well 20 week scan went very well! Both little ones were wriggling away and they are still top and tailing. Twin 1 had its legs wide open so nurse told us not to look in case we saw which flavour it was. With twin 2, as it was the fetal anatomy scan, she couldn't find its legs (argh!?) but after much prodding she found them bedding down in my pelvis so tilted me up on the bed so she could scan them more easily.

The appointment after was just a blood pressure, wee sample and doctor saying yes, the scans all look well and got me booked in for a scan at 28 weeks, 32 weeks and 36 weeks.

Just so pleased they are so far so healthy!

    x
