Ickle I have my scan tomorrow and a consultant appointment too :)
I've still not had any leakage which I am eternally grateful for! :)

Went to see a mate of mine who's a vet last night and she said if I ever wanted I could pop up in the evening and get scanned at the vets - all the vets who've been pregnant do it so if it's just because I miss seeing Bean then she doesn't see why she can't do mine too ;) So might pop up in a couple of weeks and see how Bean is getting on hehehehe

But for now we can't wait to see Bean again tomorrow at the 20 week scan :D

Im having my nuchal fold scan too so i really hope everything is okay.

MrsT...thats quite a good idea re the scan....i sont suppose it would be any different equipment at a vets!!!!

LOL Angela not really no :) I don't think it can print pictures out but didn't ask... but ultrasound scans are the same - the "head" size can vary but then they have ones that do from cats up to horses so I'm sure there will be one somewhere in the middle that "fits" a human size LOL

Hi all, just back from the hospital..

All's well with the scan, dated at 11+1 officially and EDD of 19th July. Scan pics aren't too clear - baby looks like SIL's dog on one of them and one of my sheep slippers on the other! It was bouncing around and waving though, just a shame you don't capture that on a pic!

My thyroid levels are a bit iffy so I've got to increase my doseage. 20wk scan booked for 3rd March with another consultant appointment booked for 9th March. Lots of dates flying around so I really need to look it all up on a calendar and get it straight in my head!

Please can someone change my EDD on the list to 19th July when it's next altered - got to dash to get ready for work now! I slept with my travel bands on last night and don't feel too sicky today, hurrah!

Hope everyone else's scan goes well. TTFN xx
  • Glad to hear the scan went well Elle. It's fab isn't it!!

I had my physio appointment this morning and apparently I have a very tilted pelvis :D which is causing bubba to put pressure on my pelvis and will mean back trouble is inevitable

Still - got me a sexy support belt and I am surprised about how much 'safer' I feel in it - have been able to bend down and everything!!

Got to run - house about to be overtaken by family.

Hope everyone is well - are we pretty sure that there is a baby SB by now?

  • I think there must be a baby sb somewhere... She wouldn't stay away this long otherwise ;)

Baby's definitely getting stronger in the legs, it was practically booting me round the bed last night... Hubby's desperate to feel but they all seem to be directed backwards or downwards so no joy for him yet... It also does this thing where it kicks at my bladder and very briefly I feel like I'm going to wet myself even if I don't need the toilet... Its over in seconds but there's a little bit of me wondering when it will be strong enough to actually make me wet myself lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Sounds familiar...bubs did this to me at around 12.30am this morning...went running to the loo and athough I did need to go there wasn't as much in there as it 'felt' like there was :o:o

  • Hi ladies,

It's been an age since I've been on but have been keeping up to date so to speak (AKA lurking ;))

Good luck with the scans ladies!

Christmas was lovely. We are getting nervous / excited about out 13 week scan on Friday...

Had my bloods taken on 23rd and by 26th my whole arm had turned black - they couldn't find a vein and made a complete pigs ear of the job. I look like I've been in a serious accident and the blood around my elbow is agony!

Apart from that and being completely knackered, I'm doing good. My bloat in the evenings has all but gone which worries me a little, but trying not to panic!

We will know all on Friday - god, this week cannot go fast enough!

    love to you all,
    Pickle

Both my mum's chihuahuas who just gave birth had scans at the vets and they printed pics for us. The scans were about £120 each so more than a human scan!! The equipments the same I think, although watch out in case they try to shave your belly!!!!
