right now I am seriously upset!
My expenses have been rejected (about £400 worth I think) as they were outside the 3 months we have to claim them (well excuse me for being off sick for a month then working from home with a pregnant head on and nothing but stress from more accounts and putting my job first before setting aside half a day to do my expenses!) - Spoke to the director and was told speak to your line manager when she's back from holiday in Jan... Apparently she knew they had been rejected and didn't tell me...
Director called again just as I was typing to say that he's spoken to HR and they say policy is policy! They will speak to my line manager when she's back and with the business director and see if they can process the expenses for me... So now I have to speak to my line manager about them when she's back and hope she can convince HR and the senior director... I'm more furious that they didn't tell me than they aren't paying them. They never gave me an oppertunerty to defend why they were late like they should have and that REALLY gets to me. Oooooo I'm so angry!

We think were pretty sure why the pill failed, we were both ill with that sickness virus for a few days then she forgot to take some, oops. We have played with fire so many times in the past and didn't get burned, I think our luck run out. :D

Welcome to the world of unexpected parenthood ;) Similar thing occurred with me n OH but I wouldn't change the result for all the riches in the world :D our son is (not biased here at all) absolutely gorgeous and is very excited about the nearing arrival of his planned brother or sister :T

Tell your lady to come join us too as long as she's a good gossip :p

Greent  I'm now praying that my rubbish pelvic floor at least manages to hold my insides in the right place, I'm always sick in a bucket so I can sit on the loo to avoid any accidents :o

Sparkle: you shouldn't have apologised to him I'd of told him to shut his mouth and try disciplining his child! good on that nice man that shouted at him for you! :T I shouted at some naughty kids in starbucks the other day, Chris was napping in his buggy and they were running round kicking a football! the ball hit Chris's buggy and I let rip, the mother's were totally oblivious to what they were up to :mad: and I saw not long after they bought them some choc to keep them quiet:rolleyes:

    Debt-free and Proud!
I am using my momentous 10,000th post to report that Bubba is having a growth spurt - my tummy is aching and strecthing and generally feeling quite active! Last time it happened was just over two weeks ago, before the scan, and it's nice to have some sign that Bubba is getting bigger in there!
I think it's your body's way of preparing you caz! Have absolutely no solutions though I'm afraid.... Was it skintchick who's also waking in the night? I had that for a couple of weeks but it stopped again... Unless I waake for a wee in the night, then it takes me a while to drop off again...

Yes it's me. Last night I stayed up till 2am and then went to bed and that solved it - I slept through till this morning although was soooo tired.

Poor OH wore a sleep mask so that when I came up and turned the light on I wouldnt; wake him! :rotfl:

Bless him, he seems much less stroppy now. Perhaps he reads this thread??

Did my food shop yesterday so am pretty much all sorted for Christmas now - pressies mostly wrapped and house mostly tidy (although almost everything we own needs washing, must get on with some today!).

Hope everyone is well and feeling festive. xx

  • hi yall
just popped in as im back from India and as soon as i got there my nausia stopped and so did my constant bleeding!! felt well for most of the time, extra careful with hand hygeine etc.

had a 13 hr delay on the flight home aghhh so still jet lagged. Ill be 12 weeks tomorrow and as i was away i felt the uterus rise above my pubic bone, I was amazed each day it seemed to rise another inch. aso i felt reassured all growing well. My datiing scan is early jan as had to postpone the original one on the 27th dec due to hols. when i bend down i feel a lot of pressure like someone has stuffed a football in my belly!!

I am tech not showing yet but i have had the bloat since wek 6, but now i can feel my bump Ill be able to tell when it is baby bump and not just bloat.

I can read back through all of the posts but anyone wanna give me a quick update on any news over the last 2 weeks?
    cheers
    xxx

I'm on holiday :) Me, OH and the rabbit are at my Parents. Waiting for them to finish work, want to show off my bump! Seem to have ballooned, I'm enormous. Need to go and buy a few more tops - mine are all too short now the bump sticks out so much.

Its starting to feel Christmassy now!

I shall be checking in regularly while I'm here, I can't miss any news from SB.
