12+4, but could feel it over a week ago. Not alot of fat on my belly (all on my bum and thighs:o ) also as it's baby no.6 my tummy muscles are probably not great. Can really feel it now, bound to be another boy!
I felt no 3 baby from about 10-11 weeks - big wriggler. This one, however, is a lazy little thing and at 19 weeks I'm only just starting to feel it move every day! I don't know if the fact I have a retroverted womb and a prolapse changes things - which has meant baby has only just moved up - prolapse has moved out of sight (tmi?!) only in last 2 weeks - so was hiding in pelvis for much longer than a 'normal' womb would!

I thought my bump was getting to cramped for really big kicks (still lots of movement, but little wiggles and hiccups, rather than really big high-kicks), but today it seems we are auditioning for the moulin rouge again! It keeps making me jump!

Jvic - ds1 was only in his for about 2-3wks he was 9lb 6oz when he was born with not an ounce of fat on him, he was just very, very long....he used to break free of his blankets and bash his arms and legs on the sides all the time, which used to wake him up. ds2 barely went in it either he screamed every time I put him in it.
I am getting the graco petite bassinet this time, for downstairs, and baby will have to go straight into cot in own room upstairs!! due to lack of space in our bedroom.
I have put one monkey in bed...off to sort the other one out now, and then it is present wrapping time.......I will probably end up doing it on my own as dh is glued to the blasted PS3 on fallout3 AGAIN!!!!!!

Ohhh Ladybird is called Alice!!
Greent: I'm sorry but that p word sends a shiver down my spine, someone told me a horror story that was probably wildly over egged once but it scarred me for life  Mind you I'm sure I scare some of the 1st timers with my tales of peeing my pants! :rotfl:
On the crib debate, I personally wouldn't bother with swinging as Chris hated being swung, he tended to cry when he needed milk/change/hugs not being swung side to side
The crib I got was 2nd hand off ebay for £40 but new would have cost £70 from mothercare. My Granddad had given me the money for it new so I used the rest to get a nice bedding set for it. My friend got a swinging crib from kiddicare in september for £30 new so worth a look there.
Chris moved into his cotbed at about 4 mths coz he had a habit of swinging his arms in his sleep hurting himself and then waking up in pain
I'm getting a moses basket for bump for daytime naps and for portability as Chris used to sleep on the sofa in a widgey pillow but obv I'll need to move bubs round with me in case Chris throws a toy, attempts to pick it up etc I've just seen a moses b in mothercare sale for £28 :T0 -
Hi ladies,
Haven't been on for a while, so have just spent an hour catching up. Boy,can you all talk!!
Mookie - sorry to hear about the fainting. I nearly fainted at work the other day (was standing up and somebody had to grab me a chair quickly!). Hope you're feeling OK now though?
SeptemberBaby - still no baby? I reckon a 25th December baby is on the cards(try to aim for late evening, so you get your dinner though
).
I can't remember who mentioned contact lensesbut I wear them all the time (not in bed!) and I've found my eyes have been a bit funny sometimes. A bit like I've got sleep/mark on the lens (doesn't hurt but vision is a bit blurry), but when I take it out to check, it's fine. I hate wearing my glasses so really don't want to have to start wearing them. Plus, they are an old prescription that are really too weak to drive in, so I'd have to buy new ones, so don't want to shell out for those.
I had a look in the M+P sale online the other day and they've got some lovely stuff in there. I'm 12 weeks today but haven't got my dating scan until next week (although did have an early scan last week). Because bump is due in the summer, there won't be another chance to make the most of the post-Xmas sales (and M+P stuff is quite expensive at the usual prices), but I just can't help thinking it's a bit early and that we shouldn't really be making big purchases like cots, moses baskets etc until after my 20 week scan. What does everyone else think?
We will need a moses basket as there is no chance a cot will fit in our bedroom. Not quite sure where the moses basket will fit but it'll be a bit smaller than a cot!0 -

Just speaking to a friend of mine who had twins and she said don't bother with swinging... once you start rocking them to sleep that's the only way they'll go to sleep lol!
Her two were born at 33 weeks and both fitted in the moses basket together bless! The best investment she made tho she said was a pair of rocking fischer price chairs... the ones with little LED lights that look like stars... best invention ever!
and also - buy the best pram you can afford! Buying cheaper is false economy apparently... she went through 4 in 2 years! she had a look at the iCandy for me and said that if the leg rest for when they are a bit older extends then it looks like a really good pram - but as we're both tall-ish then chances are we'll have kids with long legs too
And whilst looking at it I noticed it has a "twin" configuration too Icklebeans! Might be worth looking at I know you said you were looking at prams and struggled to find any?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I have decided despite my DS2 being 2 and half when number 3 comes along that I will be investing in a double buggy. I have been looking at a mothercare hoxton or a cosatto duet lite. Does anyone have any views on these buggies or any other suggestions?0

Hi all, just back from my tea out - had a massive plate of carvery xmas dinner plus xmas pudding for £5!! Was fab
Just come home for a quick rest and to change my top before going to Asda. The top I've got on has got a bit too much "new found large cleavage spilling out" for supermarket shopping!
Did everyone already know Wilkinson's do baby things online? http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/icat/babycare Don't know if anything is cheaper than everywhere else..0
