Well I was woken from a nap before by Mum calling me to say my Dad now has pneumonia in his right lung as well as the left! My sister is calling hospital to give them a b*llocking because he's still got the wrong type of oxygen mask after she told them this yesterday :eek: she spoke to her friend after to get full lowdown as her friend specialises in respiratory whereas my sis hasn't done that rotation yet and she told her she was deff correct so I feel for the nurse that takes that call :rotfl: you don't mess with my family we're a feisty bunch! they still say he'll be home for Christmas day but possibly on day release thing
I'm just deciding which tesco to go to as there's been a big car crash nr town and the traffic is backed up on our road, if I go little T down the road it will take a while but should be quick to get home, and opposite way round if I go big T's unless its clear by the time I'm on way home :think:

My bub is giving me a good kicking while I'm typing :j

I'm not having a very good day today... I'm narky and snappy - in my view I think the person in question deserves it but I also know there is a chance I am being nastier than they deserve because I'm already pee'd off about something else work related... *sigh*...
The ACTUAL problem is that there isn't a proper procedure in place for us to stick to so it's a case of "no it's not my job" and them going "well i've told the customer you would" and me replying "you promised you can effing deliver then! don't go promising them I'LL do things!"

None of it helped by the fact that we're nearly half strength (4 people when we should have 6 and then 2 of the 4 are on holiday!) so not only have we already got too much work, we're also covering more because of the holidays. All because the MD won't let us replace the heads we've lost...

well only till Wednesday lunchtime so it's not too bad!

Thankyou all again for all your support over the weekend, looks like i'm not the only one panicking....I felt quite sick all evening yesterday and my boobs have been really achey so I'm heppy that means that bean is sticking around, sending lots of positive thoughts down there!

One more question, what did you all say to people when you were in the frist 12 weeks if they asked you if you wre pregnant but you didn't want to tell them?
I feel like i might be jinxing things if i say no but i don't want to say yes either! I had someone ask me on Saturday night and blathered some garbled answer and then changed the subject (badly) and at this rate i'm definitely gonna give the game away!

Hypnu i guess it depends on what they ask... if they are outright asking if you're pregnant then my guess is they know...
i didn't have much choice in telling people as i ended up in hospital... so told work but did tell them it was very early days etc and please keep it quiet...

I told work early on as I felt so sick and had to eat at least every hour to cope. Also went to the toilet soo many times I felt a bit silly.

So sorry to hear about your dad. Sounds like your sister is going to give them a right telling off which is justified.

I was sooooo mad at myself on Friday for feeling like I did and promptly burst into tears trying to tell hubby what the day had been like. Just so mad becuase i dont want to upset the baby and really worried that me stressing like i do (which is a trait i have never been able to change, along with worrying and being nervous) will have a negative effect on bubs.
