Morning all,
Thanks for replying about the contact lens problem. Funnily enough yesterday they behaved all day! Guess its something I will just have to put up with!
Well Josh is off school now, am I allowed to say I wish he was in til wednesday? Haha he is driving me nuts already he is so excited about santa coming and the baby bless! Everytime he sees an advert for a baby toy on the television he asks if we should buy one of them for the baby!
The trouble is I have tons to do! Argh. So I am finding it hard keeping him entertained! Not done the big christmas food shop yet and will be going this afternoon.... help! I wanted to clean the house from top to bottom but finding it hard to get the motivation haha and I have work to do! Oh well theres always tommorrow!Oh yeah still havnt wrapped a thing. Im such an organised peson - can you tell?
On the pregnancy front my boobs are leaking! Im sure they didnt do this last time? Im craving pate and I cant have any!On christmas eve me and OH usually have cheese and wine and pate and crusty bread while we watch a movie and wrap the last few presents! Usually each others, haha. We have a big open plan living room, office and dining room so we sit back to back and have a laugh at the other trying to peek at what we bought! Oh traditions!
Hope your all well and wish me luck for asda later!

Morning girls,
I've having a bit of a flap today, Ive rather stupidly read up on the miscarriage odds online after that conversation with the stupid doctors secretary and I'm now terrified, I check for bleeding every time I go to the toilet, I want to go out and buy loads of preg tests so i can take one every day to prove to myself i'm still pregnant, time is going so slowly and 12 weeks is a lifetime away...how did you all cope in this early bit? I'm a mess....
HypnoNu - I still do this at 16+4 and I think I will probably continue until the baby is born!
Try not to get stressed out about it (easier said than done I know!) as if something does happen, there won't be anything you could/should have done/not done.
I certainly found the first 12 weeks went so slowly but once I'd had the scan and I could see it was all ok the time has flown by!0 -
afternoon ladies well ihave been tidying non stop since i got up?? got all my ironing done so need to put it away but my feet are aching with standing for so long doing it lol!

well i've finally caught up with the weekends antics!
for those who were talking about feinting (I should really make notes!) I almost passed out on the tram into work this morning.
I normally get into work for half 9 so I can avoid the rush hour and get a seat but was up early this morning so got a rush hour one. Couldn't get a seat so had to stand and after about 5 mins, and having stripped off to my vest top (which showed off my bump - I was stupidly hoping someone would take the hint and get up...) I was feeling really light headed. I asked the guy sat down if he could open the window, which he did (but still didn't offer his seat) so after another 5 mins when my legs started to shake, I stopped being polite and just asked him if I could sit down.
DH was really worried about me - it's happened once before on a packed tram home and luckily DH has been with me both times. I'm sure it would feel so much worse if I was on my own.
Does anyone know why it happens - is it your blood pressure dropping or is it to do with low sugar levels? just wondering if there is anything I can do to help if it happens again.
thanks

Thanks for all the advice everyone, I think I'm going to talk to DH this evening to see if he wants to start telling close family and friends as we see them over the Christmas period and then we'll tell everyone else after I've had my NHS scan on 6th Jan
I must admit DH has been an absolute star since we found found and has been really understanding although I've had to tell him a couple of times that pregnancy has not turned me into a glass object that will break that easily and that I'm still quite capable of doing things.
He seems to think that I suddenly need help with everything, which whilst lovely and caring I'm not at the stage yet where I need help - A classic example was me getting dressed yesterday and he asked if I needed help getting my socks on! I'm not that big yet I hope :rotfl:You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
Stargirl I think it is blood pressure dropping. Just ask people for a seat - say you are PG and feel ill and need to sit down. No-one can say no surely! DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Leaky boobs... Perfectly normal and shows everything is gearing up for the baby... Mine are all ready, much to hubbies mickey taking delight...
I don't know what causes the fainting stargirl, I've never had low blood pressure but if I stand for any length of time, especially if I'm hot then I feel myself start to go flaky... Happened at work on Wednesday stood at the side of a ladies bed, I'd hate to pass out there though in case they admitted me lol...
My Dad came for a visit on Saturday and I was absolutely furious with him... He asked me how many weeks I was and I said 19 his reply was "Oh you could still have an abortion then" It's not that he thinks I should, it's just the way his brain works, but what sort of thing is that to say to your pregnant daughter?! Even his girlfriend was gobsmacked and she knows what he's like...
Aimee sang with the choir in church yesterday, I took her along in the morning and hubby and his Dad and step Mum joined us for the evening (he only comes for special occaisions) I'm really glad FIL bought his video camera because she was an absolute star, she stood front row centre and sang her little heart out! So many people came up to us afterwards to say how well she did...
Something's moved in my tummy and while I was walking down the road this morning it felt like something was tugging behind my belly button, it was making me feel really sick too... Hoping it passes soon!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Stargirl you did the right things asking for window open then asking to sit A+ for you! I am the queen of fainting, I always carry with me (in whats known by my friends as the portable pharmacy) lucozade/dextro energy tablets and water.
Things that usually make you faint are being hot, standing for a while, getting up from sitting/lying too quickly, low blood sugar..
Try to keep hydrated and eat something every 3 hrs, can be a glass of milk or slice of toast, banana etc so you don't get hungry0 -
Ooh, meant to say on the contact lens front... I very rarely wear mine (they don't correct my vision as well as glasses do) but thought I would last weekend, one side was absolutely fine, the other felt like I had a bit of grit or something under it, nothing there when I checked and was fine when I put it back in... Very bizarre but I thought I would have to give up on them...
Poor Aimee is soooo tired... We went to dinner after church last night and she ended up not going to bed until 10... was still up at 6am... Might suggest we both go and have a lie down in my big bed in a minA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
