  • Frankly from most of the posts I have read on this thread alone, I'd sooner see you all elsewhere altogether :)

And one point you seem to be missing, the abuse team are the paid moderators, board guides aren't paid and more importantly aren't moderators and yet have to put up with all this carp. Also Discussion Time is the place for discussion, that is why it is called Discussion Time funnily enough and was set up to take discussion threads away from the pure money boards.

Hence my comments about 'narrowly obsessive' and 'jobsworth'. I am open to being told that the site owner wanted this specific action to be carried out [and I don't meansome face saving formulation, whereby Martin retrospectively endorses divadee's actions], but somehow I doubt it happened like that.

What we actually have is a horrible mistake, where divadee has taken an action which is disagreed with by over 90% in a poll - and where divadee has taken an action which cuts right across the purpose of a board she does not participate in to any significant extent. And divadee is not sufficiently involved to understand the working of that particular board, and therefore, according to the guidelines, not actually qualified to operate as a board guide.

Board guides volunteer their time to help keep the boards running smoothly and on-topic. If you disagree that the board guide hasn't moved the threads correctly and would like to help out the team, please email [Removed by Forum Team] with your views.

It would be much appreciated if you desist from personal attacks that the house prices board are so fond of

But by moving threads etc, they are actively taking on a role as a moderator despite what their title is.

And discussion about the economy comes under pure money as it has a direct relation to money....not about the sort of chat people have about their next door neighbours sons new car which is pretty much what the discussion part of this site is about.

Edit - Misskool, already done that without resolution.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

But those 41 are the majority of those who post on that board...they are the regulars, the ones who have voted no are not regulars (well apart from one person)

So far 42 people disagree with you :rotfl: That's 42 members who frequent and actively contribute to the board MORE then the remaining 423,671 - incidently of which only 6 have come to your aid! Now that's what I call a minority!

I am and always will be an individual. I never run with the pack and am happy to stick up for what I believe in.

We all live our lives by rules and guidelines, so why should this site be any different?
