but no-one seems prepared to give the abuse team time to take a look and get back , seeing as it's Sunday I expect it will not get discussed until tomorrow
First off, it is not spam or swearing, so abuse does not apply. Second, by post 114, you Board Guides really ought to see that there is an issue and self refer, or discuss among yourselves and tell us you are doing something to come towards a resolution - or even back down. It is not the mods who need to decide. One Board Guide decided off her own back as far as I can see, so it doesn't tkae mods to bring about a decision. And what the Board Guides decide, they can surely undecide as easily.

By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
    To dissolve the people
    And elect another?

There isn't a house price discussion area!
There is a house price board where questions can be asked about house prices.

The site has one discussion area where all points are discussed that are not money saving.
Once a thread moves away from the money aspect it becomes an open discussion it moves over. This is the way it has always been.

I can't honestly why you are all so defensive. This is nothing new.

For some reason you've chosen to leave out the quote,
If you're keen to chat about the ups and downs of house prices then this is the place to do it

which is direct from the House Prices forum title and is there to define its purpose, don't you think?

Understanding the economy is key to money saving, particularly in housing.

    - and it should be kept separate from "OMG MY DOGZ HAVING KITTENS" type discussion threads.

theres no issue , anything off topic (in our opinion) is moved to discussion as it states, you beg to differ with that opinion

it's a policy matter for the forum team , I don't set forum policy and neither do any of the BG's.

So people just ask a question and it gets answered? Is that what you're saying? What happens if the poster asking the question asks more question based on the respones...does it then turn into a discussion? And then at that point you'll come in and move the post elsewhere??

You - well all of you - are really tieing yourselves up in knots. You know that your actions were wrong yet you're still all trying to dig yourselves out of a hole that one of your loose cannons dug!

I just can't see why you're all being so defensive...but then again it's not te first time!

I didn't want to be that blunt, but that is what is happening here. Different boards have different qualities, which can require different board guides. Given that the original housing board had to be split to create a new House Price board, i would say that the original Board Guides are probably not the right people for the House Price board.

Oi you, I am a housewife too! :rotfl:

Ok, I am also a busybody, interfering bleep according to some..... :D
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

The issue of right or wrong board aside I think there are quite a few posters in this thread who owe Divadee an apology. There are things written in this thread that I'm sure no adult would ever say to anothers face in earnest. Its a discussion forum for goodness sake, hardly warranting some of the hurtful, childish commets posted. I hope you are ashamed of yourselves.
