I have had no connection for weeks now. I am pulling my hair out. I cannot contact them. No reply to support tickets, no mac code to move to another ISP. No telephone support, not even the premium line. The mail telling me that my connection will stop and my new username details doesent work. I have tried many times.

Cheesed off and simply depressed, I cant move away from this shambles of a company even if I wanted to which I do!!!!

I just had a call from e7 - they have eventually got my mac code from Netservices today and can migrate me away from bbuk tomorrow !

I suggested to Mike Todd at e7 that they really ought to keep the website up to date with current status. He seems a very nice chap and is doing the best he can but it seems that they have been badly let down by NetServices.

Apparently Netservices met with e7 yesterday and are supposedly trying to fix things today.

Same here. I'd like to stick with e7 as I only paid £50 for the next 10 months. I hope it's a short term glitch this time, as my service was down for a fortnight over the new year.

I still had my broadband connection late last night but not this morning. Its now back on but all my e-mails are missing. Maddening as I cannot get my yahoo password or conformation of yahoo mail. I thought I would set this up so that I would be able to recieve some post fat chance of that!! No replies from tech sup on missing posts, no suprise there then. I would like to stay with e7 but Im slowly getting teed off.

my partner is having big problems, cant seem to sign into msn messenger, get into his hotmail account or send any email attacments from gmail at all for the past 2 days!? Any ideas as to whats going on? (he hasnt changed any settings at all) and why this is as it seems we can view other websites normally. We suspect somethings up with e7even, i.e. their firewalls or something.

    :(

  • E7 are, it seems, incapable of keeping it's customers informed. It has not replied to my e-mails, answered my calls or sent my MAC. I have had no broadband since new year and the phone access only worked for a short while.
What has also irritated me is the lack of information and also the inference on their "network status" bulletin that thousands of users are failing to change their passwords correctly. Bearing in mind that most had the intelligence to set up their modems in the first place this seems highly improbable. Sorry E7, but if you treat customers like fools they will leave. Incedentally, has anyone got BBUK working?

I have had my BBUK service working for the last couple of weeks. albeit I do get disconnected every now and again and find it difficult to reconnect. My speeds have also been eratic however. For instance today the speed check at adsl guide is showing a fairly reasonable 764kbs on a 1meg line, yesterday it was about 470kbs and previous to that I was lucky to break 200kbs.

All I can suggest is keep trying to connect and when you do get connected dont disconnect !!!
If at first you don't succeed - destroy all evidence that you tried.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
i've got the same probs with ebay, gmail and a few other things. the common factor is they are sites that need a lot of stuff being sent *to* them. and when i do a speed test, it stalls on the upload/upstream part.

i can't for a moment imagine that it would be a tech problem at e7even's end! :rotfl:

why am i still paying for this?
