At last after 5 weeks I am back on line with ADSL. Yes it has been desparate and costly on dial-up but prepared to give them a chance as long as the compensation offer is reasonable - say 3 months free added onto existing period.
It is slow at times but at least we can now use the phone!
Hope you all get there.

how about throwing in a speed upgrade for everyone too?My signature has been removed by the authorities. If you have been affected by the issues raised in this signature, please contact the Action Line on 1-800-THEY-NICKED-MY-SIG.0

I'd love a speed upgrade - but e7 tell me that my line is only good for 1M.
This is strange as my neighbour's line comes from the same telegraph pole as mine and BT have sold him a 2M connection. E7 have also sold a 2M connection to another friend a couple of roads away (further from the exchange) !
Strange that I cannot get 2M!To infinity and beyond!0 -
Has anyone else had problems loading their website today.
I can''t get either http://www.e7even.com/ or http://www.e7broadband.com to load.
As I can only access my email from their WEBMAIL page I'm a bit stuck without it. Just as well I've got an alternative but not every knows that yet.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Hi Ted,
Just clicked on your link and the page came up ok. Ive been having serious speed issues today within the bbuk realm, and I know there are several people over at ADSL forums that have been complaining in the same way as you.

Had to do the 'router shuffle' again yesterday - absolutely nothing from the Linksys (which has been working since the 'double shuffle' a couple of weeks ago). Worth a try if you've suddenly started having problems with the e7broadband domain (obviously changed something at their end again).
Note that since moving onto e7broadband I've had to shuffle the modems a couple of times - never changed any settings at my end and have stopped raising tickets as I always get the 'make sure your userid is set to... yada yada. Suspect they have an automated reply to any ticket - surely a support guy could recognise the phrase 'it has been working but now it doesn't' (clue - if I had the wrong userid it would never have worked!)0 -
I've just come accross the reason for all your your troubles. This is the latest email from E7 explaining the problems (NOT).......I figured you lot need a bit of a laugh at least)........
Dear E7 Customer
Please forgive our complete lack of response to all of your tickets/complaints/BB postings. The company offices were the first connections to be migrated onto the BBUK network, and we have had a bit of trouble getting online ever since.
When our network upgrade was planned, we seemed to have missed the letter from Netservices that informed us we were only meant to migrate 1000 customers over to their network. Charlotte (Managing Director) was very sure when she paid £872.69 (+VAT!) for two years upfront unlimited broadband access from them, it was for 10,000 migrations. Please be sure that we are now pursuing the optician at Specsavers for every penny that he has. It has become apparent to us that he should never have tested Charlottes eyes during a period of high sunspot activity. For this reason, we are also including NASA in our lawsuit for not warning us before she went for her test.
As you can see (as long as you haven't been to Specsavers), it is completely not our fault for this problem. Please be sure that once Charlotte has won this lawsuit and is nicely ensconced on her private beach in the caribbean, she will be doing her best to put your problems behind you (we are sure of this, she has been talking to the ex-directors of Gio for advice).
Thank you

I hope this message helps.
For the first time in a month I have managed to get onto the internet via E7 broadband. How did I do this, you may ask. The answer is by reverting to my original username! What a fiasco. So if you're still having problems have a go with the old xxxxxx@e7even.com setting for your modem.
This will probably work until they decide to fix it again (please leave us alone E7!).
The latest fun and games is that E7 POP3 server does not work. Therefore e-mails are not accessible. Also web page access is down. It's like Monty Python's flying circus...but not as funny.0 -
My email is now fine!
Cheers
