No it doesnt tell me that there is no news ....... it tells me that they are avoiding telling us what is going on.
I mean how can it take 2 weeks to fix a problem ......... an ISP should be able to rebuild its entire coms room in that time.Guy_Wise wrote:Doesn't the fact that they aren't, tell you that they have no news ?
It seems the only current strategy is to ditch user account (hence amnesty) to create bandwidth
Not good, is it ?0 -
Hi
After reading all these posts, I must be lucky one, I am with E7EVEN, with 1 year 1mbs, which I took out in May. In December I took there offer up for £16 to upgrade my connection to 4mbs until my contract ends, this has not happend yet, but my service been fine, during the xmas hols it has been bit slow, but nothing that I couldn't do with out. I have changed my Username to @e7broadband.com. The speed does seem better now. I had couple of minutes of no internet access during the weekend, nothing major.

I have been transfered to the BBUK network and for the first time in nearly a fortnight I have been able to get connected today. It seems a lot faster also, so fingers crossed the problems have been solved.
Hope everyone else is sorted too.

What is becoming clear is that they now have no short term solutions.
It really does appear that their only strategy is to ditch accounts, via the amnesty, to free up bandwidth. That may well stabilise the short term situation, but with having to fork out refunds etc, it is not the best of plans for a long term future, is it?0 -
