I am in the process of claiming a refund form Barclaycard and they have sent me a letter asking for certain documents.

They want copies of my invoice/agreement/brochures/photgraphs/plans as applicable including terms and conditions. A detailed breakdown of the individual item(s) value may be necessary.

They also want details of any warrenty/guarantee given at the time of the sale, including terms and conditions.

Copies of any/all correspondence between me and the retailer/manufacturer.

Any other documents related to the transaction.

Has anyone else claimed for the money back from Barclaycard? Did they ask for all these details? I sent my credit card statement with had details of the payment and screenprints of the message stating that E7even had cancelled my contract from the redirected website.

I am not sure I have the invoice and I doubt I will be able to get a copy (where could I get a copy of my invoice?), how will this affect my claim? Has anyone who has claimed from a different credit card had to provide all these details?

I sent Natwest Visa copies of emails I received when I opened my account with E7, which clearly stated the cost, duration of the contract and date. I also sent a copy of the screen shot which ezee put up when they "highjacked" the e7 web site. This must have been sufficient because my visa account has been credited with balance outstanding (£129). I am assuming it is from Natwest, but have not had any correspondence yet. I cannot believe it is from E7.

    Thank you Rex,

Your help is very much appreciated. With quality input like this I have easliy been able to draft an effective letter to ezee.
I would appreciate those T&C screen grabs if you have them. I signed up on the 2nd of July.
I couldn't print them out from the website when I tried - Is that allowed? Surely we're allowed a hard copy of our own T&Cs.

Have a look at this thread..............

Archived Documents for E7 & EzeeDSL

Many thanks to Bob over at ADSLGuide for taking the time to do this and host these documents.

Thank you Bob, I will send them a copy of an e-mail from e7even from when I opened the account that shows the cost and copies of the terms and conditions from the time I signed up. I have already sent a screen print which ezee put up when they took over the E7even website and a copy of the credit card statment which shows when the payment was made and how much was taken.

I have not received a refund yet so I don't think yours was from E7even either. It is useful to know the criteria with which other credit cards are refunding the cost because if Barclaycard do not give me a refund on the basis of the information I have submitted I will just cancel the card and go with another one.

Does anyone know which Trading standards we should call? I've just had the following e-mail from ezee which offers no hope....
BB, received a similar response to mt letter.

I initially got directed through https://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk (they raised a call for mr and gave me initial advice). I got back in contact with them and they have taken down the additional info (from ezeedsl) and have now forwarded my report to my local Trading Standards who should contact with me within the next few days.

Tbh, I'm more pi**ed off with myself because I am normally so good with T's & C's.

    All,

BT have today confirmed that there is an order in place to remove my old e7even marker. I need to check each day by attemtping a BT order online, I'll know when the marker is completely removed because I will be able to complete the BT order form successfully.

    Cheers.

How am I going to find out when the marker is removed if I am not signing up to BT Broadband? I tried to sign up for AOL and the screen says that "Our records indicate that there is already an active order for this telephone number". It is now past 14th July and I am concerned that the cease has still not taken place.

We rang Bt today on 08000856161 and explained the situation, the nice gentlemen went off and came back a few minutes later to say that the marker will be removed on our line on the 24th, it is still another week away but at least we now know when we will be able to order Broadband from another supplier. It may be worth a try.
