Some people with prepaid subscriptions are reporting unauthorised £15 payments to E7's new collection service so everyone who has an E7 subscription of whatever kind needs to check their credit card/ bank statement for
    13 March 2006 GENUK GENUK £15.00"
others have found £10 unauthorised debits.

Edit: sorry for the overlap. I was busy checking my statements (no unauthorised debits at the moment) when the previous post arrived.

What a wonderful delaying tactic! They can genuinely say they have replied to your email and push you back to the bottom of the list. I had a similar experience where after a week an email was returned to me by E7's internal mail system as it was undeliverable. Pretty unusual when it was a reply to an email E7 sent me.

After nearly 10 weeks of no connection and no assistance from E7, and having read about the ongoing problems experience by many of those who still have a connection, I just want rid of E7 from my phone line. I wrote to E7 stating they were in breach of contract and gave them 7 days to respond. They did not (no surprise) so I am now pursuing the matter through my credit card company. I would recommend anyone still experiencing problems to do the same.

E7 are a disgrace to the industry. They are failing to provide the service advertised, they are failing to provide technical support, they do not answer letters, they do not answer the phone, they take up to 4 weeks to reply to emails, they delay paying refunds by months, refund cheques have been bounced and now there are many people reporting that illegal charges have been made to their credit cards (check for GENUK appearing on your statement). Despite this shambles, they continue to advertise and take on new customers. I wonder if they warn new customers of the problems?

Compared to some here, my experience with e7 has been relatively trouble free. My biggest complaint is that I signed up - and paid immediately for - an offer to upgrade to 2MB in November (16th) on the understanding that it would be applied some time in December. Guess what? I'm still running at 512KB 4 months later! I guess I shouldn't grumble too much since I've only had a few connection problems and none for the last month.

This morning, however, I've received an email from Nominet infoming me that my domain name has not been renewed by my registration agent e7even.

    Anyone else had these problems?
