Glad you found the post interesting but I wasn't suggesting any such thing and psychics and the future never entered my mind. Just thought it may have been worth something to Mike.0 -

Just suggesting he doesn't make the same mistake again and trying to point out the possible pitfalls in his possible choice of his next ISP and explaining the LLU where he doesn't seem to understand it fully. That, I thought might save him similar problems in the future.
If you think differently and that my post needs editing, then please PM me.
Not at all djohn but FM did have to remove several posts early in the thread by a few users where personalities were brought in this thread regarding e7even - service.

Another frustrating day dealing with the above lot of overpaid incompetant totally useless ethically challenged parasites. I'm including the waste of spacers at OFCOM and Trading Standards in the list of incompetant parasites.
The right to provide a broadband connection to my phone has been vested in E7 and it appears ONLY E7 can lawfully cease that connection. BT Wholesale cannot and will not allow anyone else to interfere with E7's claim on my phone line until E7 cease the connection or issue a Migration Autorisation Code.
Conflicting information from BULLDOG and MADASAFISH today led to some rather heated conversations with officials trying to fob me off with inaccurate information.
Both MADASAFISH and BULLDOG implied at some stage that it may be possible to cease the E7 connection without E7's formal consent but pushing them to commit to this eventually brought forth the fact that neither could actually create a new broadband connection without a MAC.
E7 have now ceased the facility to leave a message so their phone lines now are simply for people who wish to donate to the E7 preservation fund by hanging onto a 0870 money generating facility by holding for an indefinite period. Technical support tickets are still not being replied to and no email, telephone, fax or letter enquiry has been responded to.
While I am proceeding with the refund of subscription via my credit card company this will not restore my broadband connection. This can only happen with E7's express permission and as E7 are not willing to communicate with me I am b*******, well for another 7 weeks as after 12 weeks have elapsed I may be able to persuade OTELLO that E7 and I have reached deadlock however if that requires the written confirmation from E7 I will still be scuppered as they are not writing to me.
One possible scenario is that E7 will fold before then and OFCOM may then be able to sort out the mess but I feel it would be better if strong arm tactics by TRADING STANDARDS and OFCOM now might save a lot of stress and get the situation resolved more quickly.
The small claims court action may be an option to collect additional costs but I suspect that getting E7 to actually cough up any money awarded will cost more than the award as they will probably be bankrupt by then.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Ted,
The credit card company (CCC) are equally liable. If e7 are in breach of contract, you can take it up with CCC. You may be entitled to more than just a refund. Also, CCC are more likely to get a response from e7 than an individual customer. I am pursuing this route. Claim against CCC has been passed to CCC's head office and I am awaiting outcome.0 -

I've cancelled my subscription to E7. I had just asked for a MAC as I didn't want to lose my access to the internet, I'd been using the E7 dialup but as this looks likes it going to run and run I've followed Martin's advice and signed up with Firefly’s (freedom internet package sells blocks of 3,000 minutes for £15 or 6,000 for £25, that’s 0.5p and 0.42p/min.)
which now means I'm not so worried about being online for hours at a time.
I'm hoping that even if E7 don't issue a MAC they may put a Cease Notice on the line and this may be sufficient to enable me to get a new broadband connection faster.

Remember to keep all your receipts, details of expenditure and brief notes of phone calls made and time spent dealing with their failure to deliver a reasonable service. You can use this information when claiming compensation from the credit card company or in the county court. I recommend filing the claim online at http://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk as it only costs £30 to do it (for a claim up to £300) and it is super quick and easy.0

Just received an email from e7even offering either 2 months free broadband or 2 months worth of service credit which can be used to pay for or towards an upgrade, renewal, relocation or any other service that we offer. This is for the problems had during upgrading.
read someone was asking if offers had been received - anyone else had this offerThanks to everyone who posts comps :T0 -
