i have been off since Jan 13. My service was previously reliable. No replies to emails to their tech services; the email link to ask for a refund and a MAC is defunct. I'm not even going to bother trying to phone them so I have gone for last resort and handed over to my CC company.
Not v hopeful and just thankful I have access from work.

If you want to try the above numbers you may get through to someone - Touch Telecom is the telephone service they run from the same office.0 -
Isn't it time they started dishing out compensation to [us]ers? Should we all send them an email insisting on a formal offer? If we bombard them, and tell them we'll keep asking every two days till they respond they may sit up and listen...?0

If you are still unable to connect please try the following:
1. Login to your modem/router.
2. Change the ISP username to bt_test@startup_domain.
3. Save the settings and reconnect.
4. If the modem/router connects, log back into the modem/router.
5. Change the ISP username to bt_test_user@e7broadband.com
6. Save the settings and reconnect.
7. If the modem/router again connects, log back into the modem/router and
change the ISP username to your E7even username.
The above are the instructions to enable a connection according to e7broadband.
I've still no managed to get them to work although of course I keep trying and hoping.
I sent a recorded delivery seven day notice that I would proceed to the Small Claims Court earlier this week
but no reply to that or the support ticket update.

Anyone else had trouble with E7even dialup 0845 number today?
Had to come into the library as I could even get the very slow dialup to connect.
Be interested to know if anyone here has had a MAC yet. I'm still waiting for any response from E7. ?My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

I've been getting a download speed about 10 times slower than dialup!! Bargain!
If they'd only just hadn't bothered with upgrading the system, we'd still all be happy!
Grrrrrrr....

Time to start filing the claims in the county court...
https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk
It will cost just £30 to start the claim (up to a value of £300 and you can add the £30 court fee on top of that to the claim) and it's as easy as filling out a web registration form. Add in your complaint and you're done!
They then have to submit a defence and if they don't within 14 days you can claim an automatic win. If they file a defence they will have to travel to your local court to defend themselves. It's win win for you - as long as your claim is legitimate and strong.0 -
Having been off for 7 days in mid January the service has been pretty good. Not as good as before all the intermittent problems (Nov 05) but is been up and reasonable speed (usually).
The one problem I seem to encounter is usually in the morning when I have to re-boot the router to try and get a connection. I often then have to ping a known site's IP address and once it responds to the ping my browser can connect ot the web fine. Its almost as if their DNS server isn't working / connected quite correctly. Have to say though I haven't exeperienced this for a little while.

It follows that new readers should not be under the illusion that because things are not too bad for some E7broadband are a company that can be trusted. If they could simply cancel my subscription and take their marker off my telephone line that would be most helpful as it would enable me to move to another provider but at the moment they appear determined not to communicate in any way and are refusing to act honourably with regards to allowing/enabling dissatisfied customers to walk away from the situation.
The situation with regards to ofcom/otello/ ICSTIS/trading standards is also pretty appalling as none of these organisations appear willing or able to intervene to prevent others being drawn into the scam.
When people have their bank accounts/credit card statements/a significant portion of their regular information and entertainment provided over the internet connection it is most unsatisfactory when a rogue provider simply refuses to honour their contract and none of the regulatory bodies will do anything at all for 12 weeks. These organisations seem only interested in enabling E7 to continue to sign up new people while not honouring their obligations to existing customers. Rather than protecting honest citizens, their priority seems to be to protect the rogue trader E7broadband from direct criticism and to facilate and enable the continuing fraud. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program
