I think a lot of users that haven't yet left are sticking it out for the substantial compensation package which we are all expecting e7 to offer its users for the sheer hell and inconvenience they have put us through for many months. I expect at least 6 months free service.
With regards to chargebacks, you could try claiming compensation if the amount they owe is above £100, but it's likely e7's terms and cons state something about them not being able guarantee a service. Contact your credit card company and trading standards for advice.0 -
Is any of you on the @e7broadband.com part of the network?
Could you comment on the current status as of end of February?
I am with e7 and happily in the name@e7even-reserve.com, but have been told by e7 thay will migrate me to the name@e7broadband.com in a few days.
How are things there?0 -

I was transferred to e7broadband 3.30am 6th Feb and haven't as yet got to connect to broadband at all since. The service ticket I raised on the 6th was replied to on the 3.30pm 26th feb but only contained information derived from the ADSLguide site all of which I have already tried several times each day to no effect since the loss of connection.
Apart from the one, useless reply, there has been no communication from E7even. So those who have actually got a connection, albiet slower than dialup should think themselves lucky. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

I think we should all decide on some serious action and do it... perhaps bombard OFCOM with complaints (tell them we have waited three months for a reply, etc), or start issuing chargebacks through our credit card companies?0 -
Current Status
Update: 17:28:42 27-02-2006.
Further –e7even@bbuk MAC codes have been issued today and more will be issued every day this week until the back log has been cleared.
Speeds continue to improve on the –e7even@bbuk network and we are now rapidly catching up with the back log of technical support and customer services tickets that remain open.
There have been reports from a small number of users that they have experienced intermittent and sporadic slow downs on the e7broadband network, engineers are currently looking in to this and a resolution will be found shortly.0 -

Looks like I am getting transferred too ! Any other posts on how the e7broadband domain is going would be of help.
Thanks

Like Ted (but since early January) absolutely no connection on @broadband.com but from what I can gather that is only marginally worse than some who have connections!
E7 have been no help so I have approached credit card company who are equally liable. I think they have more clout with e7 than an individual.
OFCOM are toothless but it is worth registering your complaint with them as they may take a more active involvement if number of complaints is large enough.0 -
i'm lovingt he new e7 connection have gone from 1.1 to 2.2meg and is super fast and relaible, admitadly the loss of connection was a pain but wait for the compensation, E7 are usually good.0

What is the end of your username?
e7 has three realms/networks:
1) the e7-reserve, which has always been brilliant. but they are kicking people off that (don't ask why; maybe it costs to much to them!).
2) the e7broadband, which is a mixed bag
3) the e7-bbuk, which seems they are still sorting out slowly.
These three networks come to e7 from different providers, so their performance is wildly different!0
